Before applying for the admission, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements set by the university. 1. Register on the official website to create a student ID & password
2. Use the generated credentials to log in and fill out the application form
3. Select the desired BSc course, upload the required documents and pay the application fee in online mode
4.  Appear for the university entrance exam (if applicable) on the date notified by the university
5. Based on the performance in the entrance exam, a merit list is prepared. Shortlisted candidates must get their documents verified and pay the course fee applicable to them before the due date.

GNDU has not started the admission for BSc yet. The admission notification will be released on the university's official website. Students who wish to get admission must meet the admission criteria. GNDU BSc admission registration starts tentatively in May.

Guru Nanak Dev University offers BSc courses in multiple specialisations. To be eligible for pursuing these courses, an applicant must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 40% aggregate in relevant subjects. For some specialiations, the minimum aggregate required in Class 12 is 45%. The eligibility criteria for GNDU BSc (Hons) courses are different. Candidates pursuing a BSc (Pass) may be offered a BSc (Hons) in any one of the three elective subjects taken up by them, provided they have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned in the semester I and semester II examinations of the BSc (Pass) course.
