Disappoint due to poor infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: 40% of students got placed in MCA course. 10 LPA is the highest package, and 2 LPA is the lowest package. 4.5 LPA is the average package. Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro are top recruitment companies. 70% of students got internships at Wipro, internship startups, and IBM. Roles offered are software engineer, data analyst, and web developer.
Infrastructure: Not good classes, washrooms are never cleaned, and as the university is full of trees but still the area is not maintained near trees. No hygiene is maintained. Library is really good and proper sitting hall is there. Hostels are okay but according to the charges they are not good. Food is good.
Faculty: Teachers hardly know the basics of subjects and don't help that much in understanding subjects. It is relevant but still, it is according to the old format. It can be improved but adding some relevant subjects. Exams are average, and students can pass easily. But still teachers don't teach good but checking is really strict. Pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I want a career as data analyst. They should introduce AI and subjects that are according to today's needs. The university does have events, fests, and extracurricular activities regularly. Tournaments are held here.

Fact about Bachelors in Guru Nanak Dev University.
Placements: There are 80 students in my course. The lowest package is 2 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 5.5 LPA. None of the 80 students have received internships from my course. There are no roles are offered in my course, and MCA students are given preference over BCA graduates.
Infrastructure: We have libraries, labs with computers and Wi-Fi, and regular classrooms, though there is a little problem with hygiene. There are many canteens, and the canteen food is nice. We get many opportunities for sports. There are no specific medical facilities, and the hostel food is rated 7 out of 10.
Faculty: Teaching quality is fine. Some teachers teach really well, while others are just okay. Subjects are relevant, but they do not make you industry-ready as they are mostly theoretical. It’s up to you to acquire additional skills to become industry-ready. Students do get supplementary exams, and the pass percentage lies between 60% to 70%.
Other: I chose this course on the recommendation of my family. What can make my course better is if teachers focus on BCA students the same way they focus on MCA students and understand that getting industry-ready is necessary from the start. Teachers should give more exposure about how companies hire. Events keep happening, fests take place regularly, the campus surroundings are beautiful, and the campus is very huge. You can get scholarships to get concessions on your even semester fee, like in the second, fourth, and sixth semesters.

TCS and Nucleus software placed student review .
Placements: Companies like Infogain, KPMG, Accenture, Amdocs, Xenon Sack, TCS Ninja, TCS Digital, TT Consultant, Capgemini, Chicmic, and Kochar Tech visited the campus for recruitment. Though the recession severely impacted campus placement, many students still got placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite appropriate. Smart libraries look good, and department labs are also good. Separate boys' and girls' hostels are available, and the quality of hostel food is also fine. The university takes care of nature as well, there is so much greenery. Personally, I just loved the time I spent there.
Faculty: The faculty members, clerical staff, and the head of the department are very cooperative, always willing to assist students with their academic and administrative needs. Their supportive attitude significantly enhances the learning environment and helps students feel comfortable and motivated, though the curriculum could be improved, it still includes important subjects like artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Other: Additionally, I am really grateful to GNDU, especially the Department of CSC, for molding my career and arming me with the essential skills that resulted in my being offered the positions of ASE at Nucleus Software and System Engineer at TCS. Thanks to the Placement Cell's unwavering support and guidance, they really helped me out by guiding me along the way and the memories and experiences I gathered during my university life will forever remain in my heart.

An honest Review of Guru Nanak Dev University.
Placements: Around 40% of students get placed. The highest package on campus goes to 7-8 LPA, while off campus it gets up to 18 LPA, totally based on your skills. average package is around 3.5–4 LPA. top recruiting companies which come to campus are TCS, Nagarro, Accenture, Cap Gemini, etc. For internships, its almost same because most companies would offer you internships first and then after 6 months of internship, they would hire you. Top roles totally depends on your skillset.
Infrastructure: Classrooms do not provide any special facilities, although every department has its own library and there is a huge main library too. You will get beautiful campus with alot of greenery, canteens, big parking spaces, etc. Hostels have mess and canteens; the quality of food is fine and on some days you will also get special meals.
Faculty: Teachers are very serious about their jobs and are knowledgeable; however, the curriculum will only help you get the degree. For one to get industry-ready, he/she has to learn skills that solely depend on them. Semester exams are not that difficult, but only if you study, because the percentage of students getting supplemented is really high, specifically in this course. The key is to study important questions and study according to sections.
Other: You will get to experience a lot of festivals and get a lot of opportunities to participate in sports and societies. The campus surroundings are amazing. You can get scholarships, like poor aid funds, for your entire semester if you have a financial crisis going on. Choosing this course is somehow an alternative way to get into the teaching world if you have not opted for non-medical in 12 standard, which was my main reason.

I am highly satisfied because of the knowledge and the confidence I gained while studying.
Placements: About 80-85% of students are placed in a course. Te the highest package is around 35 Lacs yearly and the lowest package is 15lakh yearly. So according to me, the packages provide to students are good and for starting a career it's not bad to gain this amount.
Infrastructure: The excellent environment in the department. Friendly teachers and seniors who help every time. All hostel facilities are there like Wi-Fi, an emergency medical facility, separate block for sports and games. Food in mess and canteen is good and is prepared separately.
Faculty: Everyone is helpful. Each senior in the department and every teacher is helpful. They try to provide knowledge most simply so each student can easily understand what they are trying to say to us. Exams are also not difficult from my perspective.
Other: I want to pursue my post-graduation MCA course because I want to work with companies to enhance my knowledge and gain more knowledge about things.

Good staff and faculty, but not satisfied with the syllabus.
Placements: MCA placements were okay this year. Almost 60-70% of the class got placed. The minimum package was 3 LPA and the highest was 15 LPA. Well, known companies like TCS, Infosys Accenture, Capgemini, Nagar, and so many others organized online campus drives due to the current pandemic situation. Many students got internships in these companies also.
Infrastructure: Labs are fully air-conditioned equipped and all systems are equipped with good computer systems Projectors are not so good. Wi-Fi is available, but only for the staff and placement cell, not for students. The hostel is nice, too crowdy, and they got the best rajma rice.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very helpful. But, the syllabus is not so accurate and updated, there are more theoretical subjects than practicals. You are only prepared for the semester examination, but you will not get any industry-ready knowledge. Semester exams are okay, you get enough time to get prepared for the finals. There is one minor exam for 20 marks and one final which is 80 marks.
Other: I choose this course as I wanted to have a career in IT. Guru Nanak Dev University has established its name all around the world and is UGC approved. Although everything is good at GNDU, I wished they had updated their syllabus and had more practical subjects. Besides this, GNDU is very well known for its fests and events. All campuses under GNDU take part in Youth Fest which is the annual fest of GNDU and its affiliated colleges. There is also another annual fest known as Jashan which is inter-department.

More placements opportunities should be there and infrastructure should be improved.
Placements: Placements companies visit here but not that much. This college had a good placements facility. In our batch, many students were placed in many good companies with high salary packages. I suggest there should be more companies coming to our campus so that more students can be placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was good. It provides many buildings. The Library of this college was open all day. Some buildings were old and some were new. There were four girls hostels, and 2 canteens, 3 hostels were old, and 1 hostel had a new building with elevators, and a Wi-Fi facility was provided.
Faculty: Faculty members were very educated and experienced. They also guide students with our subjects and of the subjects. They were very helpful, and they had complete excel in their subject. They provide all the information clearly so that students can understand it better.
Other: Many students enroll here but enroll system was tough. They should provide more seats in each course. There were many events and fests organised every year, and students can show their skills. They also provide scholarships to needy students.

I am disappointed with its weak infrastructure and low placement rate.
Placements: The placement rate is low as compared to other campuses. There are a lot of other campuses around in which the placement rate is very high, so it does not meet that standard. Some random companies visit our college and choose a few students.
Infrastructure: The building of our campus is very beautiful and old. It needs some maintenance. Some buildings are very old. It needs to be completely demolished and build a new building in that area. Our college provides 4 hostel facilities for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our university are good and cooperative. They are quite educated and quite experienced in their field. They are mostly PhD holders and quite good in their field. Staff members are helpful.

Hey Vrinda, Well the admission in MCA in GNDU is fully based on the entrance exam. You have to clear that to get admission there, and there's no other criteria to get into GNDU. All the best.
