Review of Kokrajhar Government College.
Placements: There is no placement for students, they have to find internships for themselves. There is no college support, and no company comes for jobs. Students passing out only have a degree, nothing else. People here are only for the degree, not for any placement or something, so don’t expect placement or internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Nearby is the railway station and bus station. There is no college hostel available, but there are private PGs which are good, though they charge extra. The food in the canteen is good, and you can get everything you want. Classrooms have digital boards, and Wi-Fi is available all over the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and the number of teaching staff is very good. They help you with everything. The teachers are very qualified and have vast knowledge of the subject. The course is currently very up to date with the university, and the principal is very good.
Other: I passed out this year in April. I will miss my college, especially the fests, which were the best part of it. If you belong to a non-general or BPL category, you can get a scholarship.

The college has friendly teachers and quite helpful nature.
Placements: Top recruiting industries for Handique Girls' College graduates include those with an economics degree: logistics, e-commerce, BPO, NBFC banking, and retail, with some students securing positions in areas like human resource management. Companies like TCS and Mahindra have visited the campus, but placements remain limited.
Infrastructure: In our department, students are divided into groups of 10 members, which have 1 mentor teacher and one group leader. Every month, there is an organized mentoring session for students. We have two floors for a library, with available books for every department and every semester.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and assist us in our projects and research work. If we need any kind of assistance. They are always helpful. The teaching skills are very good, and they provide us with notes and diagrams related to the topics. Teachers recommend many good books for our course.
Other: Many events are organized in our college, such as sports events, debate events, and many talent events. The college has many certificate courses that are helpful for students.

Supportive faculty, decent placements and a peaceful campus environment.
Placements: Placements at Rangapara College, Sonitpur have been gradually improving over the years. In the recent placement drive, about 36 students are placed, with nearly 9 companies visiting the campus. The highest package offered is around 5.5 LPA, while the average package stood close to 3.1 LPA, and the median package is 2.6 LPA. The top recruiters included private coaching institutes, Kendriya Vidyalaya, and NGOs working in different sectors. Apart from final placements, students also get internship opportunities and nearly 65 percent of students secure internships every year in private companies and organizations.
Infrastructure: Rangapara College provides good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, spacious classrooms, a library, and basic labs for students. Hostel facilities are average, with decent rooms, mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers affordable meals. Medical support is available on campus and students actively participate in sports, games and cultural activities.
Faculty: Teachers of Rangapara College are helpful, approachable and highly qualified with good subject knowledge and supportive teaching methods. The teaching quality is considered effective, focusing on both theory and practical understanding. The curriculum is relevant, covering core subjects, though not fully industry-oriented, it still builds a strong foundation. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, designed to test conceptual clarity rather than rote learning. With proper preparation, most students perform well. The pass percentage is generally high reflecting the supportive faculty and structured examination system which ensures that sincere students are able to clear their courses successfully.
Other: I chose this course because it matched my interest and future career goals. The best things are the knowledgeable teachers, supportive environment, and a curriculum that gives a strong academic foundation. However, I wish there were more industry linkage, advanced labs, and practical exposure. The college organizes cultural events, seminars and sports, which keep the campus lively. The crowd is friendly and diverse with students coming from nearby towns and villages. The campus surroundings are peaceful and well connected by road and rail. Scholarships and extracurricular activities are available which help students financially and also in overall personality development.

Placements: This college is one of the best for a B.A. The placement rate is above 70%, with the highest package at ₹6 LPA, the lowest at ₹2 LPA, and the average at ₹4 LPA. Most students are recruited by educational institutes. Above 70% of students also get internships at top colleges and institutes. We get jobs according to our knowledge.
Infrastructure: All the necessary infrastructure is available for all students, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. There is also a girls' hostel and a canteen. The books in the library are very useful and up-to-date. The food provided in the hostel and canteen is also very good. Our college also has a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Some are very helpful and friendly, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant. The semester exams are not very difficult, and 100% of the students pass every year. I chose this course because I love it.
Other: I chose this course because I loved it. There are many events held at the college, which help students improve their extracurricular activities.

As a student at Handique Girls' College, I am writing to share my perspective.
Placements: My college offers placements with limited opportunities. The highest package is approximately around 6 LPA INR, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. Some students secure their placement with roles like system engineer, web developer, or software developer. The last one is the most common.
Infrastructure: Although the campus is not big, it has everything that a student needs, like a library, e-library, computer lab, labs, and classrooms. There are two canteens inside the college campus itself. There are also many clubs for sports and games which encourage interested students to take part in them.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite helpful, they are knowledgeable, highly qualified, and give us a quality education. If the students are proactive, then they can make themselves industry-ready. Teachers of my department are really dedicated. Exams will be difficult, but if we work hard, we can make them easy.

Placements: In my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) course, the percentage of students who get placed is around 90-95%, which is a huge batch. It is a government college, so placement or internships are not offered, and we have to do it on our own. Whereas, the staff members and professors are really helpful in guiding.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classrooms are decent enough. Labs and the library are also good. The mess or canteen is not clean or hygienic. Besides, medical facilities are great and helpful for those who need them. Sports and games are also an important factor.
Faculty: Teachers are really good and helpful. They are really qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not so difficult, and it totally depends on whether they study enough or not. The pass percentage is also not a big deal. We just required only 33%.
