Good infrastructure, good environment, fantastic teachers.
Placements: In our college and in our stream that is B.A. LL.B. HONS we have over 120 students. Most of our students are currently enrolled for internships under advocates and firms and institutions like ASPAC and human rights commission etc. Our college is marked as one of the best law colleges in India and Assam.
Infrastructure: We have a big library, a legal aid clinic, moot court hall, computer lab, seminar hall, and canteen. Everything here is good, we also have AC in some of our classrooms. The quality of the food provided in the canteen is good and hygienic. Many moot court competitions, debate competitions, and also art competitions and exhibitions are conducted in our college.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are very up-to-date and helpful. Our course curriculum is beneficial for today's world as our course teaches us the laws rules and regulations related to everything important because a layman does not have that knowledge.
Other: I always wanted to become someone who knows for what purpose we are fighting and making valid points is my strength. So law helps me to do that.

My review On Dispur Law College.
Placements: This college doesn't have placements as it is a law college but not a reputed one so students getting passed out have to get a license to practice law and then they themselves go to look out for job opportunities or they can further do other courses abroad.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okayish because we have no hostel or any PG support whatsoever. Students coming from neighbouring states have to look for their accommodation as the college doesn't have any role in that. Secondly, we have a library from where we can borrow a book for a time period f 7 days.
Faculty: The faculty is good/average because some teachers are good at their job but all of them are not punctual. Most of them tend to come 10-15 late to the classroom. Some teachers use the wrong pronunciation and lack basic English speaking skills.
Other: If I'm being honest, I chose law after watching suits and better call saul. Also, there were some personal things happening which required me to research the law and it got me interested in law-related stuff basically. I wish teachers to be a little bit more understanding for those who don't understand Assamese and to also check if students are actually grasping the knowledge they are given.

I am very much satisfied with its teaching staff but the administration is not good.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Various recruiting companies hire as a legal advisory. Most of the students get internships in many different companies like Judicial services.
Infrastructure: This college provides a good infrastructure with a moot court, library, and seminar hall maintained very well. There is a girls' hostel but it is closed due to some reason. The boys' hostel is not provided. The canteen is there with good food and it is well-maintained. The environment is hygienic in this college.
Faculty: This college provides excellent teaching quality with friendly teachers who are very helpful and knowledgeable. This course prepares the students from the very beginning in the field of law. The semester exam is difficult, but the teaching staff makes it easy for the students with their teachings.
Other: I chose this course because I made my mind to study law from the very beginning, and the best things about this course is that it makes the course easy with multiple degree and it saves 1 year. The semester system and this college administration can be improved. Events, fests, campus crowd, campus surroundings, and extracurricular activities are good. There is no specific scholarships provided by this college.

A good law college to gain excellency in legal field.
Placements: For B.A. LL.B. or any other Law Courses there are no placements offered by the college. However, placement opportunities are offered by other departments. For Law courses there are compulsory internship programs in each semester under any law firm, advocate.
Infrastructure: For Law course there is a separate law library with numerous law books, journals case diaries etc. That we can issue. There is even E-library from where we can issue books online. There is well maintained, air-conditioned library, computer labs and free Wi-Fi throughout the campus.
Faculty: The law department is under the Dibrugarh University in Assam and the curriculum is decided by the University itself. The teachers are highly qualified with Master's degree and some having Doctorate degree. They are immensely helpful, cooperative and friendly.
Other: The Law course has a lot of scope in today's world. One can be a judge, jurist, law teacher, magistrate, advocate and serve the nation with their excellency.

Good College life for five years but placements were not there.
Placements: My college name was NERIM Group of Institutions and I was a law student. Initially, when I got admission, there was a maximum of 52 students but gradually many students left due to which only 38 students were left at last. Intake was also not more at our batch. I was in the batch of 2014-2015. Intake also increased in recent years to the course. Our semester fee as a whole was of Rs 15,000 and every one year we have to pay Rs 2000 as enrollment fees. During the admission, the fees were of Rs 25000 along with library money Rs 2200. Examination fees were of Rs 1000 and an additional Rs 400 have to be paid if there was a practical paper. But the fees are not the same as of now as it increased in the coming years. There was no placement offered for the law students and it was available only for BBA MBA and B.Com students. It was left to the options of the students to bring placements if anyone wants. The internship has to be done for two weeks after every semester and it was left at the option of the students where they want to do internships either in Commissions, Courts or Chambers. An application was signed by the principal to avail the internships. The internship is mandatory for every student. Our course offers honours in two papers, first political Science and secondly in law paper. Students can choose in which subject they want to take honours in law-Criminal, Business or Constitutional law.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms were fully Air Conditioned. College Buses are also available for students. Computer Labs are being taken to every week. Good library facilities with a vast number of books are also available. In addition to it, a subscription to Lexis Nexis was also there for students to use. E-library was also made available for students. There was no Wi-Fi in Classrooms but was available only in the campus and library and labs. The quality of the hostel was good. Our hostel was just behind the college. The floors were tiled and the balcony was also there. Each floor has 9-10 bathrooms. And basins were also there in front of the bathrooms. The quality of the food was good as compared to the outer PGs or other hostels. A canteen was also there to visit. Medical facilities were there as hospitals were nearby so, in emergencies, cars were there to take to hospitals. Sports weeks were held in big field in which students can participate in different types of sports.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful as they help whenever needed and we can even go personally to them. Screen Projectors were also fitted in every classroom for teaching. We can even call up the teachers in case of any confusion. The quality of teaching was also good. It was mandatory to attend every class for 5 hours. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant as assignments were given, moot courts and seminars were held, and top of it we were given honours on two subjects. It gives us a platform or opportunity for development of students.
Other: I always wanted to become a corporate lawyer so I came to study here and of course, I wanted to go for an integrated one. NERIM is one of the best institutions in the North-East region, so I applied here. The best thing is that it provides honours on two subjects and internships were mandatory after every semester. A diary for that was also to be maintained and field visits were also there. I wish that the honours in B.A. Were to be of the students own's choice and not only political Science. Campus Crowd was not too much and was good. Many other events and extracurricular activities were also held from time to time. Other outside competitions or events also came to our college in search of talents also. Scholarships were also available.

I am satisfied with the institution, and dissatisfied because of lack of practical exposure.
Placements: No placements are being offered by the institution. Students look out for themselves for internships and real courtroom experiences. B.A. LL.B (Hons) is an integrated course, and I've taken Corporate Law as Hons. No companies are walking in the college offering jobs, but the LL.M. course probably provides a sort of recruitment facilities for the students.
Infrastructure: Separate classes are available for the Hons classes. Facilities like a library, a gym, auditorium, canteen and the basic requirements that are needed are available in a college. The institute doesn't have hostel facilities. The food is fairly good though a few incidents of misconduct have been noted a few times in the past and actions have been taken to improve the conditions. Annual sports and cultural curriculum are held and organised by the institution from time to time.
Faculty: Staff is helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is fairly good, but it can be improved. The course curriculum is relevant and interactive, but as students of law, we can only be industry-ready once we have practical exposure.
Other: I have chosen these course B.A. LL.B. (Hons) because ATIT meets the ends of my criteria, career-wise. Personally, I think a moot court experience would be much better than sitting at the library reading textually. We should be able to apply the knowledge we inherit. Events and fests are organised on the campus, and the campus crowd is friendly and helpful. The surrounding is okay, gardens are maintained. The campus is cleaned daily. Extracurricular activities are also held and supported by the institution from time to time.

Yes you have to give CUET for BA in Psychology course at Gauhati University. You don't need to appear in the entrance conducted by this university.
You only need to appear for the cuet UG 2025 and then register yourself on the website. The counselling process will be according to the CUET score.
