The best college for a degree.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best. Lecturers are very supportive. They provide all subject notes and important materials for exams. The pass percentage of the degree in this college is 100%. Everyone passes with the help and support of the lecturers.

All about my college life and experience.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. They provided good education and were too supportive of every student. The course curriculum was also relevant. The semester exams were difficult, and the pass percentage was 99 percent. I enjoyed my college life.

You don't have to think about placement in this course. Syllabus is not as vast as MSc Physics.

Faculty: In this course we have classes in both Guwahati University and B. Borooah Cancer Institute. Classes are regular. You don't get Saturday off in this course. Also all the exams are held in B. Barooah Cancer Institute except the sessional. In the last semester all the classes and practicals were in the cancer institute.

Totally dissatisfied with the experience.

Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful and helped me every time in my B.Com journey, and some of them are quite strict but taught classes properly. Teachers are well-qualified and have proper experience. The quality of teaching is average, and to be honest, it does not make the students job-ready. The semester exams are of an easy to moderate level, and the pass percentage is approximately 85%.

Absolutely disappointed.

Faculty: Teachers have a lot of ego, and some of them do not even properly understand what they are teaching. In smart classes, they often just make students watch YouTube videos. The teaching quality is very poor, and students are not properly prepared. They do not allow students to sit for exams if attendance is low, even though fees are charged.

Our college has some demerits, such as no student union and limited sports activities.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and guide us properly. Most faculty members are from IITs, which is good for students. Faculty from the CSE and MCD branches are more cooperative and helpful. The first and second semester exams are a bit difficult because the subjects are mixed.

I'm totally disappointed.

Faculty: No extra-curricular activity, no sports, no nothing, the college compound is like it ended before it started. This college only wants money from you. The college authorities will fine you for nothing, and if you fail to give them money on time, they will charge you a fine of more than a thousand rupees.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, computer labs, no placements, etc.

Faculty: I don't really know about teachers' knowledge, but according to how they teach, it feels like they are only reading the same thing that is given in the notes. Practical knowledge is zero. Mostly, we write semester exams by heart. Teachers only try to give notes, and they want us to know everything when they don't teach things properly.

It has an average infrastructure with a decent placement scenario.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. It is easy to interact with young assistant professors. Senior professors are somewhat polite but may be found to be insolent sometimes. Overall, teachers are fine. The current curriculum they follow is NEP 2020, which makes it easier for students to study from an internet platform. Semester exams are moderate, and students have an average pass percentage.

Average hostel life and below-average mess food in 1st year hostels.

Faculty: Semester exams are relatively easy in 1st year if you have a strong basis of class 11 and class 12 and also the JEE parts which are not in the NCERT. In 1st year, you got chill professors (not all, though but most of them are chill), especially the Maths department.

The practical choice for accounting: Good placements but needs better engagement.

Faculty: The teaching quality is decent. They are knowledgeable but the teaching quality is not that good. The co-curriculars are relevant and do make students industry-ready. The college exams are engaging and come under strict supervision which can be challenging for many students to improve themselves.

Review of Assam Engineering College.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Exam difficulty depends on the student and the exam, as well as how well you prepared yourself for the exam. The semester exam is not so easy, but if you prepare for the exam, then it becomes quite easy to pass.
