Totally dissatisfied with the experience.
Placements: Hi everyone, I am Diptanshu Sarkar, Graduated from K.C. Das Commerce College, Guwahati, Assam. About my college placement, I would say it is not that good, though it is a reputed college in Guwahati. The top recruiters are private banks like HDFC, and overall, the placement percentage is not that good.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big enough, seats are available for at least 120 students per class, there is a Wi-Fi facility, but it is not good, to be honest. The library is good, almost every course-related book is available, and you can get it for free by using a card. Our college does not provide a hostel, so you have to find a PG, which is available near campus. The canteen is average, and the sports faculty is very poor.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful and helped me every time in my B.Com journey, and some of them are quite strict but taught classes properly. Teachers are well-qualified and have proper experience. The quality of teaching is average, and to be honest, it does not make the students job-ready. The semester exams are of an easy to moderate level, and the pass percentage is approximately 85%.

B.A. (Hons.) in Education - Batch of 2023
Offered by Pub-Kamrup College

Good infrastructure with the responsibility of professors really helps students for a better future.
Placements: There were many alumni who were in very reputable industries and organisations. College did not offer direct recruitment. But there were many alumni who took their jobs from off-campus. Pub-Kamrup College was totally for degree and higher secondary courses.
Infrastructure: The college building and the campus life were too good, and the nature of the campus was totally beautiful, with facilities like a girls' hostel on campus itself, with fast Wi-Fi. There was also practical room for the Science stream. A large library for all students was also available.
Faculty: All faculties were responsible for their students. Their guidance really helped the pupils with their future. Semester exams were fully covered with the relevant syllabus, which helped students to be realistic with the real world and made them ready for their future.
Other: Pub-Kamrup College was very beautiful and good for the degree courses like B.Sc., B.A. or B.Com. There were also higher secondary levels with arts, science, and commerce. The college also added a new course, such as biotechnology, which was future-oriented.

Absolutely disappointed.
Placements: For internships, our college has a bad reputation. Even advocates react negatively when they hear which college we are from. Roles are not properly organized. The college lacks academic structure. They do not provide proper guidance, which is very disappointing.
Infrastructure: They take fees for construction. The toilets are in very bad condition. We have a small room attached to the bathroom. The whole room smells like urine. There is nowhere to sit. They call it a common room. Even the furniture is made of wood. There is no hostel facility. They probably took the money for themselves like last time.
Faculty: Teachers have a lot of ego, and some of them do not even properly understand what they are teaching. In smart classes, they often just make students watch YouTube videos. The teaching quality is very poor, and students are not properly prepared. They do not allow students to sit for exams if attendance is low, even though fees are charged.
Other: I chose this course because it suited me. I expected a normal college where the principal is not greedy for money. This college is the worst example of a law college. It should be shut down for the way things are being handled, as it is ruining many students’ futures.

B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2029
Offered by Central Institute of Technology
3.6
3.0Placements3.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
Our college has some demerits, such as no student union and limited sports activities.
Placements: I do not know much about placements yet, but some students score good marks in JEE Mains. We do not get many placements on campus. I am in Instrumentation Engineering, and placements mainly come from companies like Oil India and refineries. I am still in the first year, so all subjects are currently combined.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are clean compared to other institutes, and there is no ragging. Most seniors are friendly. Wi-Fi is available, labs are well-maintained, and classrooms are clean. The library is also spacious enough for around 150 students at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and guide us properly. Most faculty members are from IITs, which is good for students. Faculty from the CSE and MCD branches are more cooperative and helpful. The first and second semester exams are a bit difficult because the subjects are mixed.
Other: I got a leftover seat because I had low marks. I was on the waiting list. I want to improve my academics and study well. There are also two main fests on our campus.

I'm totally disappointed.
Placements: The worst college experience ever. Freshers are treated like VIPs only for admission purposes, but from the second semester, the reality comes out. Poor lectures, money-minded authority, and hostel students are treated badly. Would never recommend NERIM to anyone.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in college, and the network is very poor in classrooms. The hostel is very far from the college. I would not recommend anyone to take admission in a hostel. They are forced to eat food, and the menu set by the authority is very bad and repetitive.
Faculty: No extra-curricular activity, no sports, no nothing, the college compound is like it ended before it started. This college only wants money from you. The college authorities will fine you for nothing, and if you fail to give them money on time, they will charge you a fine of more than a thousand rupees.
Other: Stay educated, but never take admission in NERIM Law College.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty, computer labs, no placements, etc.
Placements: According to me, the placement is very poor in this college. Students were not placed by the college, they need to approach companies on their own. We have to find internships on our own, the college doesn't provide them, and if they do, we need to pay for them. No recruiting companies at all.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor in my course, particularly. The computer lab's condition is very poor, and the computers are so old that they don't even work properly. Ironically, in the department that is computer-centric, the computers don't work. Canteen food is okay, but not that good either. No medical facility at all. For sports, we also don't have much space on the campus. One ground is there, but it is mostly used for parking. No specific area to play all the sports and games.
Faculty: I don't really know about teachers' knowledge, but according to how they teach, it feels like they are only reading the same thing that is given in the notes. Practical knowledge is zero. Mostly, we write semester exams by heart. Teachers only try to give notes, and they want us to know everything when they don't teach things properly.
Other: I chose this course to learn more about tech and get practical knowledge. To date, I haven't found anything best about my course related to practical knowledge and all. The first thing that I wish to improve in my course is in the computer lab. This is a computer-related course, so we should have new computers and fast technological stuff. Practical knowledge should be provided to make students industry-ready. No fests at all. Events are only Freshers and all, no other significant events. They can make the infrastructure newer by providing more facilities in the college.
