Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University - Pauri Campus was established as a state university. HNBGU has 3 campuses, namely Birla Campus with its extension at Chauras Campus Srinagar Garhwal, B. Gopal Reddy (BGR) Campus Pauri & Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) Campus Badshahithaul, Tehri. Out of these 3 campuses, the Birla Campus with its extension at Chauras Campus Srinagar Garhwal, is the main campus. 

HNBGU Pauri campus has an entrance based admission process for which scores of CUET UG and CUET PG are accepted.
