HPNLU admissions 2025 are entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission in UG and PG courses based on CLAT scores. NLU Shimla offers courses at the UG and PG levels in the Law stream. Besides, the university also offers PhD at the doctoral level.

LLM is a one-year programme that consists of four semesters at HPNLU. The maximum time duration for the completion of the course is four years. Aspirants who have passed LLB/ five-year integrated LLB/ equivalent degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate can apply for an LLM course.
