Gujarat National Law University Admission 2026: Courses, Fees, Eligibility and Selection

GNLU offers various courses to candidates at the UG and PG levels. They are as follows:-

• BBA LLB
• BCom LLB
• BSc LLB
• BA LLB
• LLM, etc. 

To get a seat at GNLU Silvassa for the UG and PG-level law courses, students have to appear for the CLAT entrance examination and then the counselling process to be considered eligible for admission. 

The GNLU Silvassa CLAT cutoff 2026 was concluded after 5 rounds of seat allotment for the above-mentioned courses. The cutoff was out in the form of ranks for several categories under the All India and Home State quota.

The GNLU Silvassa CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released for round 2 for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and Master of Law (LL.M.) programme. The cutoff was released for various categories under both the All India and Home State quotas. 

The NLU Silvassa CLAT Cutoff 2026 for round 2 was 1264 for BA LLB (Hons) course and 1088 for the LLM programme. This cutoff data is for the General AI category. Other rounds, quotas, categories, etc., will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

GNLU Silvassa CLAT cutoff 2026 concluded after the release of the final round of seat allotment for the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. The cutoff was out for several AI and HS quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 336 to 1500 for both courses, with LLM course being the more sought-after.

Yes, you could get into GNLU Silvassa with a 4000 rank if you belong to the SC AI category. For this category, the overall cutoff range was 2843 to 8902. Hence, a rank of 4000 could get you a seat at this institute.

GNLU Silvassa cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the LLM cours at the postgraduate level. The CLAT cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the fifth admission list. During the GNLU Silvassa LLM cutoff 2025, the Last Round closing rank was between 565-2004 for the different LLM courses under the General AI category.

• Graduation marksheet
• ID Proof
• Passport size photograph, etc.

Eligibility for GNLU Silvassa requires that the candidates must have an LL.B. or equivalent with at least 50 percent marks, 45% in case of candidates of backward class/ Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe. Primary and mainly the good score acquired by a candidate in the PG CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) will also determine admission since GNLU chooses students according to ranking made by CLAT PG. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible and have to undergo the CLAT counseling process. There, they select GNLU Silvassa as their first preference. Once selected, students go through the admission formalities such as document verification and fee payment.

The total fees for the Master of Law (LL.M.) programme at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Silvassa is INR 600,000 plus a one-time admission fee of INR 17,000. The LL.M. is a two-year programme offered at the PG level. To be eligible for the course, students must have 45% in 12th and 50% in graduation.The tuition fee of the LLM course offered at is INR 1,000. The total fee of the LLM course is INR 22,000.

The eligibility criteria to join the LL.M. programme offered at Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Silvassa is an LL.B. or an equivalent degree with an aggregate of 50% marks in case of the general category applicants and 45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories. Admission will be made according to Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG score. Applicants must rank below the cutoff specified for the academic year. The programme is highly selective, and admissions are based on preference for those candidates having a good CLAT PG score and a strong academic background.
