Q:   How many courses are offered by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University?
A: 

The university offers over 35 UG, PG, and Diploma courses. PTU offers courses in the streams of Engineering, Architecture, Science, Design, Law, Mass Communication & Media, etc. Moreover, the courses are offered in full-time, part-time, and distance modes. Candidates must meet the course-specific eligibility and selection conditions for admission to the desired course.

Q:   What will happen if someone misses the internal exam in I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU)?
A: 

This is something common in colleges because you have a lot of things you need to do, a lot of work except your college studies, like sports activities, NCC, NSS, events and all, and sometimes both collide so if something is important you are doing then you can email your HOD that this is the reason why you might not be able to give internal exams, and they will rearrange the internal exam for you. Also sometimes there are some extra exams happen for those students who were unavailable at the internal exam time. You just need to inform before the exam.

A: 

For admission to the BTech programme at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), formerly known as Punjab Technical University (PTU), candidates must have a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12. Candidates having a valid Class 12 score will be shortlisted for the counselling programme followed by document verification and tuition fee payment leading to final seat allotment in the BTech programme.

Being from Himachal Pradesh, I will say that this is the best destination.
Placements: I took the placement facility which was offered in the second semester and paid the fees. I am currently in the third semester and not yet placed, but I am confident that I will get placed by the fourth semester. I look forward to it very positively. That is the sole reason I came from Himachal Pradesh.
Infrastructure: I am the president of Ivory Girls Hostel. I live on the third floor, and I suggest that the senior message is better than the junior one. My room is a sharing room, including me, and the Ivory Hall is good. We go there because there is air conditioning, and the overall experience is good.
Faculty: I am giving five stars to this section because faculty here are really very good. Regarding the curriculum, I will say it is very rigorous and demands a lot of effort throughout the four semesters in MBA. If you do not get placed, it is a struggle. But if you get placed, then your struggle will be different.
Other: On every floor of our Highway Girls Hostel, some sort of workers live. On our third floor, the dispensary staff lives, and their room has an attached bathroom.

It is my best decision to join this.
Placements: Around 80% of people get the placement. The highest package is 1 crore, and the lowest package I don't know. There are so many opportunities we get and are given to us, and the placement drive is also a nice part, and we got different opportunities to enhance our life goals.
Infrastructure: The course I chose is B.A. LL.B. and the classrooms are good, but not that good. We also go for a court visit, and labs are also good, and Wi-Fi connection is sometimes poor, but not that much poor and in the library, books are available which we need.
Faculty: The faculty is so nice and friendly with us and tells us everything that we ask. The faculty studies history and also tells about what has been done in the economy and in the constitution. They are so nice to students and give them a different opportunity.
Other: Good events and festivals are also held here.

Good placements are provided.
Placements: Placement is average in our college, but if you have skills, you can get a good placement. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Byju's, Mahindra, etc. Many students get an internship, but you need to do a little hard work to get one. College is good, but if you want a good placement, you might get better.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good. Labs are managed well, and systems are new. You can learn things more easily with these good machines. The classroom is average, they need to do something. There are no ACs in the classroom. The library is very good with all the books for our course, and you can easily study in the library.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful in any kind of problem. Related to our academic problem and study. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes it ready for students. Semester exams are a little bit harder, but if you study a minimum of 3-4 hours a day, you can even top the exams.
Other: Choosing B.Tech shows my love towards machines and my skills. There should not be burden of attendance and study. Students get depressed .

Good facilities and faculty members.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech AIDS batch. Around 85% of students were placed. The highest package is 22 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. Many got internships in IT firms as data analysts and developers.
Infrastructure: The university offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern AI and data Science labs, and a well-equipped library. Hostels are neat, food is hygienic, and medical, sports, and recreational facilities are excellent and well-maintained for students.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable with strong teaching skills. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant, focusing on AI and data Science. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage remains high, around 85-90%.
Other: I'm from the B.Tech AIDS batch. I chose this course due to my interest in AI and data Science. The best part is practical learning and coding projects. The campus crowd, fests, and activities are great, though more industrial exposure would improve it.

Being a local of Chandigarh, I will say that this college is really recommendable.
Placements: Being a first-semester MBA student, I am in contact with a lot of 3rd semester students. Many of them say that they have taken NOC from the college after getting a placement, so it is true that if you get placed in the 3rd semester, you will get a NOC, so that you can join your job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is very environmentally friendly, and they are doing infrastructure development on a large scale. I am not a hosteler and so I have no idea about the hostel accommodation inside and what the students' life in the hostel room.
Faculty: Regarding faculty members, I will say that this institute, which is now a University, has a stock of one of the best faculty members I have come across to date. Exams are held in a semester-wise scheme, and right now, I am done with my second semester exam, which is now followed by a semester exam.
Other: I come 2 CGC University from Tribune Circle to CGC University, which is located in the city of Chandigarh, and the bus takes one and a half hour to reach the college. I got a scholarship of 30 percent, which is the best part.

I am really satisfied because of the faculty members.
Placements: It's really amazing to have an opportunity to study at CGC University. The top roles offered by my course are lawyer, litigation lawyer, corporate lawyer, etc. Many students got internships from my course. I don't know about companies but course is great.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good and environment is friendly. Wi-Fi facilities are also available on the campus in every department. Canteen is huge, and food is amazing. Medical facilities are also available with great doctors. Ground of sports are huge.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is amazing. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult, and it depends on students. I feel amazing that I got admission to this college.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to become a corporate lawyer. The fest and events are amazing. Campus is too good and huge with greenery.

Q:   What is the fee refund policy at IKGPTU?
A: 

IK Gujral University follows a fee refund policy in case of cancellation of admission. In case a student withdraws his/ her seat before the start of the course, his/ her total fee is
refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 only.

In case a student surrenders his/ her seat after the beginning of the course and before /on last date of admission to that course, he/she get fee with proportionate deduction of
total monthly fee (full fee including development and other charges) and proportionate total hostel rent (all charges).

In case a student withdraws his /her seat after the last date of admission to that course, he /she does not get any refund.
