As per the NIRF report 2024, 117 BTech and 2 MBA students were placed during the 2023 placements. Earlier, 55 BTech and 2 MBA students were placed during the 2022 drive. Every year lots of students from different places come to pursue their B.Tech at IKGPTU and mostly Punjab state engineering students might be in the majority and there are around 60 -120 seats for each  B.Tech field courses like IT, Electronics, Cs l, AI etc. are there so students can get their admission in their interesting fields and able to study there with good practical skills and knowledge of their fields and able to achieve their dreams.
