These included the Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA). IILM University offers a two-year full-time MBA programme at the PG level. MBA is available in below seven specialisations at IILM University Gurugram:

IILM University shortlists candidates for MBA and PGDM based on entrance exam scores. The university accepts national-level Management entrance exams such as MAT,  XAT,  CAT,  NMAT,  CMAT or GMAT. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round for final selection. Once the selection process is over, shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. Selected aspirants are required to pay the course fee to confirm their admission to the university.

A prospective applicant seeking admission to a postgraduate programme is required to hold a bachelor's degree from a university or institution recognised by the UGC or equivalent bodies. The degree should exhibit a minimum aggregate score of 50% or an equivalent grade, such as CGPA or CPI. Notably, individuals in the final year of their bachelor's degree programme are also eligible to apply, with the condition that they can furnish the final year degree certificate and mark sheet later.
