Indian Law Institute (ILI) admissions 2025 are entrance-based. The institute offers degree, diploma, and certificate programmes to aspirants in the Law stream at postgraduate and doctoral level. Aspirants are offered admission to the Master of Law (LLM) programme offered at ILI based on their performance in the Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test (ILICAT). This law entrance exam is conducted at the national level.
Candidates are eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Law offered at the Indian Law Institute Delhi if they have secured at least 50% aggregate in their LLB degree. Also, aspirants should have pursued their graduation degree from any college/institute/university that is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). After clearing ILICAT aspirants need to appear for Viva-voce in order to secure admission in the Master of Law offered at the Indian Law Institute.

Indian Law Institute Fees & Seats 2025

Steps for Indian Law Institute Admission Process 2025
Indian Law Institute Delhi admissions are entrance-based. The admission process starts with filling out an online application form and ends with document verification and fee payment. STEP 1: Indian law Institute Delhi Application
To get admission to ILI, aspirants must apply online. The application process is conducted in an online mode.
STEP 2: Selection Rounds
Admission to LLM and PhD courses at ILI is entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on a valid Indian Law Institute- Common Admission Test score. Whereas, for the Postgraduate Diploma course, direct admission is offered to students based on their last qualifying examination. Further, other selection rounds such as Viva, Interview round, etc., are conducted by the institute for the final selection.
STEP 3: Release of Merit Lists
After the commencement of all the selection rounds, the institute releases the merit list in various rounds. Only those students get selected for the respective courses, whose names appear on the list.
STEP 4: Final Admission
After the release of the merit list, pay the admission fee in online mode and visit the admission office for the verification of the final documents. The final admission will only be given after the completion of the prescribed requirements.
