In order to get admission to IIIT Hyderabad for MTech, students are required to apply via PGEE, CEED or GATE exam for different M.Tech specialisations. Eligible candidates who qualify these exams are offered admission. To be eligible for all M.Tech specialisations, candidates must have passed BE/ BTech/ ME/ M.Tech (all branches), BArch, MArch, PG Degree in Science/ Mathematics/ IT/ Computers/ MCA. Additionally,  at least one year of industry experience in Product Development is required (Waived for fresh graduates with Product Design internship experience - especially ICT-related products) for PDM specialisation.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech in Product Design and Management (PDM) are required to have a valid score in GATE/ CEED/ PGEE exam. For all other M.Tech specialisations available at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, qualifying PGEE is the minimum requirement. IIIT Hyderabad offers M.Tech across four specialisations, namely CSE, Computer Science & Information Security, Computer-Aided Structural Engineering and Product Design and Management.

Yes, student with a cutoff rank of 3000 in JEE Main can get admission to IIIT Hyderabad, if belonging to the General All India category. The course available at thi rank for the General All India category is BTech in ECE. The last-round closing rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4350 for the General All India category. 

Among the OBC AI category candidates, the cutoff rank for admission to BTech in ECE was 4398. Therefore, admission at rank 3000 is possible for OBC AI category as well.

IIIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was out for B.Tech in CSE and BTech in ECE. The cutoff was released for different categories under the General All India quota. The last round closing ranks for BTech in CSE and BTech in ECE were 1582 and 4350, respectively, for the Geeneral AI category. No, the deemed university only considers JEE Main scores for regular admissions. There is, however, a provision for admissions based on other entrance exams, such as DASA and SPEC. Further, for students from Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities with Mathematics, there are opportunities to pursue Dual Degree in the field of Computational Linguistics or Exact Humanities.
