B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2029
3.4
Overall academic wise good.
Placements: Placements are average. Companies come for students. Good students get placed. 70 percent students get easily placed with good package. The highest package is 47 LPA of CS branch and average of mechanical is 6 LPA and the highest is 14 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Yamaha.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Hostels are only for girls. No hostel for boys. Maintenance is on work. Canteen is available there. And food is of very good quality and food variety is also available. Ground is much bigger than you think. You can play many games.
Faculty: Faculty is nice. Exams are also of good level. Curriculum is also good. Teachers are very helpful and very much qualified in their field. The course curriculum is relevant. This course and college make the student ready for industry. Semester are moderate.
Other: Mechanical placement are good. Events are average and crowd is more. College is small in size.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
2.4
A true and genuine review with harsh realities.
Placements: Not all students get guaranteed placement but the bright students get. Around 70% of students in our course got placed. The highest package they got is around 18 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. Almost every student gets a chance for an unpaid internship. Maruti and Escort hire from our course.
Infrastructure: The facility of our building is not that much good. There are projectors only in few classrooms in which some of them are not even working properly. There is no proper ventilation system in our classrooms. Currently, there is no hostel for boys. The infrastructure of girls hostel is too old but the food they provide is quite good. Medical facility is good but for only minor problems not for major ones. There is only one cafeteria in which almost every dish is not that good.
Faculty: Not all teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but there are 3 to 4 teachers who are knowledgeable. The teaching quality of almost every teacher is bad. To some extent the course is relevant but a student has to prepare himself on their own to get industry-ready. Although some teachers help students but it is not sufficient. They must put in some extra effort also. Semester exams are of moderate level, any student with little sincerity can pass it's exam. The passing mark is 30 out of 75.
Other: In our batch, there are almost all students who are very bad at their studies. The interaction between a student and teacher can get much better. There is no fest in our college, but there is one fest called ethnic day which they are unable to conduct it properly. Students has also applied for SCBC scholarships but they haven't got the scholarship yet.

4.0
Value for money, good placement.
Placements: Above 90 percent of students are placed. The highest package is approximately 14 Lacs, the average package is approximately 5 Lacs, and the lowest package is approximately 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are SMS Group, Flipkart, Maruti Suzuki, Jindal, Dabur, etc. Almost all students got internships in the above-mentioned companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs are not up to date. Classrooms are advanced in terms of technology. The library is pretty good. The quality of food in the hostel is okay, and in the canteen, it is good. Medical facilities are very basic. There is a really good culture of sports and games.
Faculty: You have to rely on yourself no matter how good or bad the teaching quality is. Although it is okay, the course is not up to date, and it is not making students ready for market requirements. Some semesters are really tough, while some are easy, especially the first and second semesters.

The placement for mainly mechanical is very good near about 95% placed .
Placements: In my batch there are 60 student who persuing Btech in mechanical engineering. About 95%students are placed in 2022. The highest package is 25Lakh and the lowest is 3 lakh and the average is about 4 to 6 lakh. Top recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, samsung, Honda. About 95% of students from our course placed in samsung, Escorts, Maruti,Honda. Top roles are Maruti Suzuki offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good . Classroom and library is well good . The labs and workshop have well machine to give knowledge to the student . Workshop play important roles for mechanical engineering. There is no hostel for boys at present 2024 .The hostel is under-construction which be ready by about 2027.
Faculty: Yes , the teaching staff is well qualified and knowledgeable . the teaching quality is good. Student be ready for industry .intern makes perfect. The Exam are difficult and question also comes from previous years pyq which makes exam moderate and to easy.
Other: I have interest in making machine so I choose mechanical engineering branch instead of computer science which I can get.It is more practical knowledge that I can get from this branch. It would be to increase the timing for labs and workshop so we get more knowledge and make for jobs in workshop. Events and fest held here . There are many scholarship like Post matric scholarship for BC And SC or more. There are cultural clubs , technical clubs, career and counseling cell, Sports clubs.

Mechanical have 98 percent placement legacy.
Placements: The starting salary is low, at around INR 30000 per month in hand. Yet, we know that we can get a better offer by applying to companies off campus, especially for core branches. For CSE and IT students, the salary package is moderate but it's not good, with a maximum of 18 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus is very old having been built in 1965. The college claims that they are buying a new campus, but we don't know for sure. There is only one new building on campus, but it houses many courses. There is only one elevator in the building, which makes it difficult to manage the many students and staff.
Faculty: The syllabus and teaching methods are very old and need to be improved. The IITs and NITs are teaching the latest technology in the core branches, and their students are familiar with the latest developments in their fields. In addition, their workshops are well equipped with the latest machinery.
Other: Many course in small campus.

The university is not large but if you want to take admission this is good.
Placements: YMCA offers good placements, especially for students in computer science and information technology. The average salary package for all students is 8 to 9 lakh per annum, while the average for mechanical engineering students is 5 to 6 lakh per annum. More than 95% of mechanical engineering students at YMCA are placed.
Infrastructure: The campus is too small, only about 21 acres, but if we come to college, we can enjoy the campus life. The management is very good. There is a library with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and separate discussion rooms and incubation centers where students can work their ideas.
Faculty: The teaching staff at YMCA is supportive, but not overly helpful. If we want to do something new, they will support us fully. The university provides funding for unique ideas, and the exams are moderately difficult, but getting good marks is not easy.
Other: There is not such a great campus life, despite the very small campus, the arrangement of departments is very good. About 7,000 student study at university in different courses. They should enjoy the campus. There is one large park where student are sitting.

J.C. Bose University (YMCA), Faridabad
Placements: Usually, 60 to 70 percent of students get placements, and the placement program starts from the 7th semester. Top recruiters like Blue Star, Yamaha Motor Solutions, Sonalika International, Jakson, McDermott, Trans ACNR Solution Pvt Ltd, KPMG India, and SMS India participated in the placement program in the recent session. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA in the Mechanical Department. Since I am a first-year student, I don't have any idea about internships, but there are certain organized groups that provide information about internships offered by the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent; classrooms do not have air conditioners, and Wi-Fi is only available in labs. The library is really great; you can find any kind of book you want, and we have access to e-books provided by the college through the website jcboseust.ac.in. Since the boys' hostel is under construction, I can't comment on hostel facilities, but the quality of food is good and affordable. Medical facilities are also good, and we have different clubs for sports like kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, and cricket. There are no inter-college sports competitions, but students participate in state and district level championships from our college.
Faculty: The faculties are great; they are highly qualified (most have PhD degrees, and some also have degrees from IIT Delhi). The teaching quality is good, and teachers are supportive; they guide you regarding your career, and you can contact them during working hours. The curriculum is relevant; it prepares students for the industry through workshop training by industrialists, who explain everything thoroughly. Sessional exams are held twice a semester, followed by practical exams and then end-semester exams. The difficulty of exams is moderate, and the pass percentage of students is 50 to 60 percent per semester.
Other: I chose this course due to our relatives' background in mechanical engineering. The thing I like about my course is learning about various parts of machines, and R&D is also booming in this field. Events are organized during festival seasons, and competitions like singing, dancing, and drama are also held during these events. The campus crowd is good, and the campus surroundings are decent; the campus is a bit small. Scholarships like Chattravarti Scholarship are provided to students with reservation quotas, and students can also avail scholarships funded by private entities. Extracurricular activities such as singing, dancing, drama, gaming, and robotics are organized within the clubs.

Good placement and faculty with the worst infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: In mechanical engineering, there are total 140 students, out of which 120 are eligible and 80–90 students are placed in the placement with package ranging from 3–12 LPA. The top recruiters are Maruti Suzuki, Falcon Autotrch, Honda, Triumph, etc. Nearly everybody get an internship.
Infrastructure: There is no boys hostel available currently because of corruption and government colleges, but the girls hostel is available and very spacious as well. The college Wi-Fi is good and the labs are spacious and have a lot of machines, neither of which are working. The only bad part is the library and classrooms, which have a lot of students.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and helpful but the infrastructure and schedule of the teachers are a problem. The curriculum is nice. The classes are very few, with not that much attendance pressure. The semester exam depends on the mood of the teacher, which is mainly easy most of the time with some exceptions. The pass percentage is around 90%. .
