Yes, it is possible to crack JMI entrance exam through self-study, if a candidate prepares for the exam with strong determination. Candidates are required to cover complete syllabus, prepare a time table and follow it thoroughly. Additionally, practicing previous papers and mock tests is also a must to score well in exam.

The National Testing Agency has started CUET PG application process for admission to Jamia Millia Islamia. The window opened on December 14, 2025 and the last date was January 23, 2026 (11.50 PM). Students looking for admission at JMI through CUET PG must apply for the entrance test.

Jamia Millia Islamia will release the admit card for JMI entrance exam 2026 on April 17, 2026, on its Admission Portal. Students appearing for the entrance exam must take the admit card with them to the exam centre. Failure to do so will result in denial of entry to the exam hall. The JMI admit card will be given to only those candidates who will apply for the exam.

Non-MCQ questions are less than 20 per cent of the total number of questions in the JMI question paper. The non-MCQs are mostly from topics like National and International Political issues/ personalities, General Knowledge, Film, Television and other modes of media, Art, culture and literature.

As per exam pattern for JMI entrance exam 2026 for MBA, there are three sections in question paper. These are Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English. The JMI question paper includes 170 objtective type questions and candidates will get three hours to complete exam. Examinees have to mark the correct answer in OMR sheet. There is also a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Jamia Millia Islamia releases cut off for different categories, including General, Other Backward Caste, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. The JMI entrance exam cut off for SC and ST category students is usually lower than cut off for General category.

JMI entrance exam counselling 2026 will begin after the test is conducted and result is declared. The Jamila Milia entrance exam question paper is of 3 hours. The written exam consists of two parts A & B. Part A MCQ type questions of total 20 marks, Part B is descriptive and has questions of total 180 marks.
