JNTUK MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025

JNTUK Kakinada MTech is a two-year postgraduate degree programme divided into four semesters and offered full-time. The basic eligibility criteria required by the university to get admission to MTech at JNTUK Kakinada and its affiliated colleges is candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% aggregate BTech degrees or equivalent. Additionally, JNTUK Kakinada MTech admissions are based on GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling. Placements: College has very decent placements. Average package is 10 LPA, and this year 3 girls from the final year have cracked Amazon offline. More companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and many more are hiring. The placement percentage is 70%.

Infrastructure: Both the boys' and girls' hostels are very neat and super. The girls' hostel will be in the college itself, and the boys' hostel will be outside the college. The food in the hostel is very decent and better compared to other snacks. Bathrooms are attached and non-attached according to price. Every department has specialized labs and good infrastructure with good technicians.

Faculty: I am actually enrolled in AIML course, which is a recent course but it has a qualified staff to teach all the new technology. The curriculum is very simple yet helpful to students.

According to the 2023-2024 report approximately 83.80 percent of students were successfully placed in various jobs. The range of packages offered to students is impressive. The lowest package offered was approximately Rs. 2 LPA, the average was Rs. 4.5 LPA and the highest was a stunning Rs. 20 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms with digital gadgets and internet connection. Properly furnished labs. Centralized libraries with internet connections. Separate hostels for male and female students. Internet-enabled furnished rooms. Dining halls, seating areas, and lawns. Clean and nutritious meals. Mess and cafeteria service. Primary Health Care Unit offering medical services by a doctor and a nurse. Physiotherapy unit with advanced tools. Sports center including a swimming pool, gym, and gymnasium. To get a seat in JNTU, it all depends on your category of caste. If you are a general category student, then you need to get a rank below 3000 to get in Computer Science engineering, and if you want to just join the college irrespective of course, then your rank should be between 3k to 10k.
