JNU BSc seats are alloted based on candidates' merit in the CUET exam. Jawaharlal Nehru University reserve some seats for candidates belonging to the reserved categories as per government of India reservation policy. As per the policy the percentage of reserved seats are as follows:
- 15% for Scheduled Castes (SC),
- 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST),
- 27% for Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL),
- 10% for Economically Weaker Sections.
