JNU has not released its 2025 placements report as of now. The JNU School of Engineering placement report 2023 with the overall highest package offered was INR 33 LPA. The avearge package offered at JNU SOE placements 2023 was INR 16 LPA and INR 11 LPA.

Candidates are offered admission in MA programme based on CUET-PG scores of the candidates. The students are selected based  on their performance in the entrance test. The CUET PG exam is held for postgraduate course admissions to over 50 Central and participating Universities. 

MA graduates can make a career in industries such as banking, hospitality, railways, or public sector companies depending upon the chosen specialisation. The average salary given to MA pass-outs ranges from INR 3 to INR 6 LPA. You can work as teachers, journalists, project leaders, artists, politicians, research associates, administrative officers, content writers, etc. 

Yes, the university offer two-year MA programme in multiple specialisations. Some of the specialisations in which the course is available are Sociology, Political Science, Economics, etc. The course carries a total of 64 credits. In addition, the course is divided into four semester and there are 16 credits each semester. Admission to this PG-level course is entrance-based. 

Jawaharlal Nehru University eleigibility criteria varies as per each programme. Students must qualify Class 10+2 from the recognised board with 45% marks for general category for UG programmes. For PG programmes students must qualify Bachelors degree with 45%- 50% marks from the recognised university. While some of the programmes accepts national entrance exams for admission. 

The JNU offers only one MBA programme. There are 9 major and minor domain specialisations available under the course. Students can pursue an MBA with any domain. Students are required to meet the eligibility criteria of the course.

 

Yes, candidates seeking admission to the JNU MA course must appear for the CUET-PG entrance exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The students are admitted on merit based on their performance in the entrance test and the deprivation points are added to their score in accordance with the approved admission Policy and Procedures of the University. On the other hand, the minimum score needed for the same programme and category in JNU was 88. Comparing both scores, we can see that the competition for the DU colleges is on the higher side.
