For JNU BSc admission, candidates need to apply online for CUET. JNU BSc admission is completely entrance-based and depends upon candidates' performance in the CUET-UG entrance exam. The final selection is based on JoSAA counselling process. The JoSAA counselling is usually held in the month of September. This year, there will be six rounds of seat allotment.

JNU BA (Hons) cutoff 2025 was between the range of 59.28 and 74.4, among the General All India category candidates. The cutoff range was between the range of 59.8 and 69.64, for various BA (Hons) specialisations. Among the SC AI category candidates, cutoff ranks varied between 52.51 and 65.58.

The cutoff ranks 2024 for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru University other than General category are - 58780 for OBC, 158641 for SC, 251417 for ST, 58661 for EWS, 416895 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
