JIIT UGET 2026: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, BSc admission is conducted in three different modes. To get admission in the BSc cousre, candidates can choose any one admission procedure as per their qualification. There are three admission modes:

Direct mode: Candidates are offered direct admission based on their score in the Class 12 exam. Candidates must score 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects, i.e., Mathematics, Physics, and English.

JIIT UGCET: Class 12 passed out students can apply for the JIIT UGCET entrance exam. JIIT conducted the UGET admission in two rounds, the first round was conducted for all the candidates who completed their registration up to 30 April. The second admission round was conducted for the candidates who applied in May 2024. 

CUET (UG): Students can also apply for the CUET exam. Common University Entrance Test, also known as CUET UG, is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Students should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programs in the Central Universities.

Yes, you can join Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) without JEE. The institute accepts scores from various entrance examinations, including JEE Main, JIIT-UGET, CUET UG, and direct admission based on class 12th marks.To get admission in Jaypee Noida for B.Tech, it is competitive as clearingthe Jaypee Entrance Exam is not that easy. Tech courses for the duration of 4 years under 6 disciplines. The admissions will be both entrance and merit based. For the entrance based admissions, candidates will have to appear for JEE Mains. The candidates who score 60% marks in the qualifying exam are eligible to apply for the admission.

Direct admission is availabe under the 'Direct Admission' scheme. Under the scheme, students with 75% marks or equivalent, in aggregate in three subjects i.e. Mathematics, Physics and English in the class 12 exam. Candidates securing below 75% can take the JIIT UGET entrance exam and secure a valid score to meet the merit criteria. JIIT Noida also accepts CUET exam for admission to its BSc programme. 

Candidates aspiring for BBA and BSc courses offered by JIIT can get admissions based on the merit of JIIT UGET exam or CUET UG exam conducted by NTA.

The difficulty standards of JIIT UGET is similar to any other university level BBA entrance exam, such as LUACMAT, and Lucknow University UGPET. However, candidates who prepare well for the exam will find the JIIT UGET exam easy. While the candidates who appear for the exam without any preparation may find it moderate to difficult.

No negative marking prevails in the JIIT UGET exam. Therefore, candidates can attempt all questions and rely on guess work for the questions they do not know the answers for. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology may change the JIIT UGET marking scheme in future exam sessions. Theerefore, candidates are advised to keep track of the latest JIIT UGET exam pattern.

Candidates have to pay INR 500 as the application fee for JIIT UGET. Candidates applying for the BBA/BSc admission via the CUET UG exam are also required to pay INR 500 as the application fee. No fee concession is available for reserved categories.

Candidates will find the following sections in the JIIT UGET exam:

• Quantitative Aptitude
• General Knowledge
• English Language
• Logical Reasoning

Each section oif JIIT UGET will have a total of 25 questions.

Yes definitely, you can join JAYPEE Institute without giving JEE Exam. One can get admission without giving JEE based on 10+2 merit. The requirements for getting admission are that the candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 grade and should have a score minimum of 60% aggregate in the board Examination one can also see the merit list that is released on the official website of JAYPEE Institute to get admission. The students can fill out the College form and if they are shortlisted they can pay the fees and can get direct admission to the college.

Jaypee University of Information Technology Solan accepts online and offline application process.  Aspiring candidates can apply through the official website. The online application process has been mentioned below: 

Step 1: Log on to www.jiit.ac.in and click on the apply online link of the related program or directly logon to www.getadmissions.com/jaypee (authorized agency for online applications).
Step 2: Follow the on-screen prompts to fill up the application form and make the payment through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking/UPI. The application fee is in the range of INR 1,200 to INR 500 as per course requirements.

Step 3: Once the payment has been successfully made, the candidate shall be allotted an Application ID, which must be preserved for future reference. The candidate shall also get an e-mail of confirmation.
Step 4: During the online application, candidates are required to upload a passport-size photograph of self and signatures of self and their parent.
Step 5: The candidate must keep a copy of the application form for future records.
