Q:   Is it going to be tough to clear the MAH BBA CET exam if I have not studied Mathematics in class 12?
A: 

Even if a candidate who have not studied mathematics in Class 12 can still do well in the MAH BBA CET exam. The exam includes sections such as Logical and Abstract Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Aptitude. The QA section is based on topics such as algebra, geometry, data interpretation, arithmetic, etc. Students do not require advanced knowledge of these topics. To prepare for the QA section students can refer to the NCERT books of Class 9 to Class 12 adn other books such as "Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Examinations" by R.S. Aggarwal and online tutorials. Regular practice can help the candidates score well in the QA section of MAH BBA CET.

Q:   Will there be any subjective-type questions in the MAH BBA CET exam?
A: 

No, there are no subjective-type or long form answer questions in the MAH BBA CET exam. The MAH BBA CET question paper only has 100 multiple-choice questions that are to be solved in 90 minutes. Candidates must attempt all the sections. Candidates must note that each question in the MAH BBA CET question paper will have four options. They will be required to choose the correct answer and select the radio button against the answer. If the candidate marks two options for a particular answer, then that answer will be considered incorrect. Each question in the MAH BBA CET carries one mark. No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.

MAH BBA CET exam was conducted for the first time in 2024. The questions in the MAH BBA CET exam are mostly based on the Class 12 syllabus. The English language section can be a bit difficult because of lengthy comprehension passages. The General Knowledge section was the easiest. Rest of the sections are usually of the easy to moderate difficulty level but are easily doable.

Q:   What is the exam pattern and syllabus of MAH BBA CET?
A: 

Maharashtra BBA Common Entrance Test (MAH BBA CET) is conducted by the State Cell for admission into various management colleges across Maharashtra. MAH BBA CET is conducted online for a duration of 90 minutes. English, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Computer Basics are the sections which are tested in the examination.

1 mark is awarded for correct answers and no marks are deducted for the wrong answer which means there is no negative marking. Question paper can only be answered in English.

  1. English- This is a test to see how well you know the English language. In this test, there will be passages with questions based on their contents to test your comprehension. 
  2. Reasoning- This test measures how quickly and accurately you can think. This test may have questions based on figures and diagrams and also questions on verbal reasoning. 
  3. General Knowledge- As the name suggests, this tests the candidate's general knowledge about the world and happenings in and around the world. 
  4. Computer-Basics- This test measures the basic knowledge of the computer and its applications.
