The best law university in Kolkata.
Placements: In the legal field, there is no concept of placement like the management or B.Tech course. But, still, the university provides the placements and internship facilities on its part. Students get placement from this, not only that, the university provides corporate-based companies for their placement.
Infrastructure: Every facility is good. The students get free Wi-Fi access throughout the university. The books are available properly. The classrooms are enough according to the student ratio. The canteen and hostel facilities should be improved.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and student-friendly. They help the students as much as possible. They are all highly qualified and knowledgeable. Not only that, they cover the syllabus according to the annual and the curriculum.

It's a very good college for business studies, and I recommend my juniors get admitted.
Placements: 80 percent of students get admission in 2024 to my course. When I got admission, the package was around INR 2 lakh, or 64 thousand, and here are the top recruiting companies like Flipkart, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Persistent. Almost averagely, they did get the internship, like in TCS and Flipkart, and the top roles offered are manager of various departments.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is for lecturers and infrastructures like classrooms are well spaced and maintained and students are okay with it. AC is also available and the library is well spaced and disciplined to allow you to study for hours and take books through a library card. Hostel facilities are good enough for students who can manage them well and balance study and life. The quality of the food is somehow okay. Wi-Fi is available inside the hostel, and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and cooperative with us; they supported us in everything related to study. They are qualified and knowledgeable; they teach very well. This course is relevant and makes the student ready for the industry. Semester exams are not difficult if the students read properly, and the passing percentage is 45%.
Other: I did choose this course because it was most suitable for me, I think, because I would likely go to study CS. It will help me. The best thing about my course is being a successful entrepreneur. A lot of events do happen for our courses and our Dean and HOD motivate us to go through them, face them, experience them, and learn something from them, like bizz mela, bizz notion, etc.

The college is improving itself day by day. Many new facilities are been introduced.
Placements: Around 80% students are placed every year. Top recruiting companies are infosys, ITC, Wipro etc. Still the students have to work quite hard get campus placements. In this field many don't go for jobs they further practice under a advocate or either go for LL.M.
Infrastructure: There AC in some classrooms. The college has auditorium for the functions to take place. Even there a huge library in the college. The food in canteen isn't good, the students have look there food on there own. Hostel also isn't good enough. It an average.
Faculty: The professors here are well qualified provide quality education. Still there are faculty which are qualified yet they don't teach well especially the BBA faculty. The problem here is mostly faced by non Bengal student as many things are taken place in the college is in the Bengal language.

One of the best Private College.
Placements: Placement record is 100% but one need to study properly and score well then you will find a job opportunity and also you have to have much experience fro BBA LL.B. students there are many job opportunities you can go for a legal advisory or any other thing. If you want to study for more higher education then you can go for MBA on hr or marketing, and also you can go for LL.M. After passing my 12th exam I went to the admission office of the college, there are 2 members who complete the process of admission 1st they gave a form and I filled it up and because my 12th number was good and according to their scholarship criteria they provide me the scholarship and after that I gave online exam. Not every time, but sometimes they provide us internship like swach bharat or anything like you go to some ones house and aware them.
Infrastructure: I don't have much knowledge about the hostel rooms because I travel daily from my house but I heard about my friends those are staying in college hostel, they said college hostel is not very good. If you need a hostel room you need to apply for that and you need to do that fast because there are few rooms, mess food is good and fresh, as per their saying. Seniors are very good in behaviour and also very helpful in our projects or any other problems. Campus life is good, in our we don't have any political parties or student union but we follow the anti-ragging policy. And also there are all boys and girls are equal no gender, religion discrimination is there. Classrooms are cleaned every day and proper air circulation is there, by use of fan. Wi-Fi is providing average speed but it is enough to access the educational websites. Medical facility not available in campus.
Faculty: Exam is divided into three parts, first is 20 marks project faculty members can give you the project topic and also you can choose it, then a 30 marks written exam or mid-sem exam. After that the last one is end term exam of 50 marks so total of 100 marks exam if you want to pass in a exam you need to score at least 40 marks. And also there are two more exams of total 100 marks. Its the best course for all those who are interested to study law and want to do job in private sector, best course for them. And the course curriculum is good easy to understand. Its a integrated course for 5 years, first 3 years you will study management subjects with law subjects after 3 years you will study only law subject. So eventually student will have enough knowledge of both the courses.
Other: We celebrate many festivals in our college and we also arrange some events. We celebrate international yoga day, pre-puja celebration before durga puja and saraswati puja, guru nanak birthday, etc. We also arrange some events like saraswati sera samman, freshers party, etc. Now talking about loan and scholarship provisions. If you score good in your 12th exam then the JIS university will provide their own scholarship if you have minimum 45% marks in your 12th exam. If you have 60% to 70% the college offer you 50% fees of the course.

One of the best colleges in West Bengal.
Placements: This university has completed only 3-4 years. Almost 99% of the students get placed. This university is tied up with many national and international companies, but you need to study and score well in the exams to get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The college provides good facilities. The faculty members of both the management and law departments are doing their best for students. The campus is fully enabled with Wi-Fi. Labs are well maintained. Every classroom has their own projector and a whiteboard. The college also organises an inter-college sports competition like cricket tournament and football matches etc. The libraries are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, friendly, well qualified, and knowledgeable. The faculty members use modern teaching methods. As per the curriculum, you have to visit the district court and High court, an NGO, police station, etc. Every month, the college organises an excursion, and they organise many industrial visits each semester for the students of BBA.
Other: The college offers many events like freshers party, fests, pre-puja celebration, Saraswati Puja, Saraswati Sera Samman. The connectivity is good. The students can reach the college with the help of bus, train and an auto rickshaw. Our university also provides scholarships to meritorious students.

Best college in North East India.
Placements: Placement record is 100%. Our college linked with many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Uber etc. But you will need to score well in your exam then you will select from campusing, so score well and get the best jobs in a very good salary. And you will also need some experience.
Infrastructure: It's a new born baby so it's growing now, only 3years is complete from opening. But infrastructure was good. Wi-Fi is available but per day only 20MB, labs are good, classroom also good. Facilities are good they just like your friends. If you not get understand anything you can asked them.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very helpful, they help you in every problems, if you don't get understand you will free to talk with them. All faculty members are highly educated and qualified. They are very knowledgeable and the teaching method is modern for easy understanding.
Other: Our college give scholarship upon your 12th percentage. There are no problem in transportation. We arrange many events and festival in our college like Pre-Puja celebration, Saraswati Puja, Saraswati Puja Sera Samman, Fresher's, Fest etc.

Department of Juridical Sciences, JIS University Review in Brief.
Placements: The placements at JIS University is a centralized process with dedicated Placement Cell in the main campus. As far as the Department of Juridical Sciences is concerned, most of students get into practice and higher studies. The placement process includes various LPO like Upturn Consultancy, Kyrotics, etc. In 2024, 2 Law Firms visited the campus. I secured internship in Kyrotics and Senior Advocates through the placement process and the role is mainly of Junior Legal Associate.
Infrastructure: The Department has a dedicated Moot Court Room, Gallery for Seminars and Workshops with decent Wi-Fi. The classrooms are structured as per BCI rules. Coming to other facilities - the library has numerous books, AIRs, Bare Facts but lacks Legal Research Tools and Subscription of Manupatra and SCC Online for Legal Research. There two different dedicated hostel for boys and girls adjacent to the campus. The canteen is quite hygienic while the list of items are limited. The JIS Spirit is annual sports meet conducted in the month of December where students participate in international college competitions including faculty members.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are Doctorate from NLUs and IITs and are highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty decent as it's pracdemic. The course is updated every year and with the latest amendments. The Course Curriculum has a mixture of Practical Learning through Moot Courts, Seminars and Workshops and Legal Theory. The Department organized two major events National Moot Court Competition and Youth Parliament Competition where the students across India Participate. The course is structured in such a way that it gets easier for every students to ace the Semester Examination. The Department boosts about its Research Output & Publications.
Other: The crowd in the Department is quite ambitious and development oriented. I am highly satisfied with the course and the Department. Being a final year student that too from Non NLU, I have research papers published in Scopus Indeed Journals and have citations to my name. The JIS SAMMAN is an interesting college competition where all the JIS Group Colleges compete in 3 different categories like Academic Excellence, Sports, and Cultural Brilliance. The University organize an annual fest MRIDANG where there is an array of cultural events.

Placements: Placement occurs on the basis of your performance in the exams taken by the company and the selection is done by GD and sometimes open to all campaign drives are observed. Above 80% of people got a place and the average is 4 to 6 LPA but at the time of covid placement drive company decrease their package. I am going for Masters after getting the result.
Infrastructure: Caring wardens, vigilant security and CCTV surveillance ensures a pleasant stay allowing students to focus on academics. Spacious residential apartments with necessary amenities consists of 2/3 single rooms with attached bathrooms and sitting lounge equipped with common room, gaming, newspapers, cable TV and safe drinking water (Aquaguard), geysers, coolers, Visitors lounge laundry services available on demands. All hostels are sanitized regularly and necessary pest control conducted.
Faculty: In JIS University the faculty system is very good and well balanced because we have two or three faculty members for every single subjects. Beside giving lectures they also helped us in our laboratory work, assignments and extra curriculum. The HOD is a Jadavpur University graduate Ph.D. holder.
Other: This university is best and its value for money they provides placements to all students.
