If any candidate leaves the BCom programme or desires to cancel his/ her admission before the last date of admission, the fee will be returned to him/ her after deducting 10% of the admission fees deposited. Only caution money will be refunded if a candidate leaves the programme after the said date. In case where candidates have given an undertaking to the effect that their admission may be cancelled in case they fail to produce their result of qualifying exam by the last date of admission, they will not get any refund of admission fee except the caution money.
Jiwaji University provides an opportunity to its BCom programme students to apply for scholarships. Jiwaji University BCom scholarships include Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes and, OBC category students.
Candidates seeking admission to BCom at Jiwaji University are required to follow the following application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Jiwaji University.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on ‘Apply Online Form’.
Step 3: Click on 'Register' to proceed with the application form.
Step 4: Read the guidelines carefully before applying for the BCom programme. Click on 'I agree' to proceed with the application.
Step 5: Fill in all the important details such as name, address, nationality, gender, mobile number, email ID, etc.
Step 6: Hit the 'Save & Next' button.
Step 7: Upload the necessary documents.
Step 8: Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject has to be paid through MP Online and submit the form.
Students should go through the advertisement published in newspapers or University website followed by which, students must fill up the form or can go to the kiosks of MP Online and ask them for submission of admission form.
Candidates have to take the printouts of the admission form cum receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and are required to submit the printout of completed application.
Jiwaji University BCom seat reservation is in accordance with the policy of the MP Government. The benefit of reservation will be available, only for category candidates of MP domicile. Two extra seats will be created in BCom course for the following:
- One seat for wards of regular teachers and officers of the University
- One seat for wards of regular Class III and Class IV employees of the University
- If any reserved category candidate gets placed in general list in merit, then the seat in reserved category will be unaffected
- If applicant belongs to the category such as Freedom Fighter etc., the seat reserved in that category will be treated as filled up.
- Over and above seats will be reserved for NRI/ sponsored candidates
Jiwaji University BCom seat allotment is based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying exam. The total seat intake for the BCom programme offered at Jiwaji University is 12645. However, Jiwaji University follows the seat reservation policy in accordance with the policy of the Madhya Pradesh Government. Jiwaji University BCom admission 2024 is merit-based. Given below is the Jiwaji University BCom admission process:
STEP 1: Application Process
Candidates seeking admission to the programme are required to visit the official website of the University, fill in the details, upload the documents and, pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 800 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) together with INR 200 registration per subject through MP Online. For every course, the registration fee of INR 200 per course/ subject has to be paid along with the application fees of INR 1,000 at the kiosk centre.
Candidates should go through the advertisement published in newspapers or University websites followed by which, they must fill up the form or can go to the kiosks of MP Online and ask them for submission of admission form.
Candidates have to take the printouts of the admission form cum receipt of payment and a Proctorial Board form and are required to submit the printout of the application.
STEP 2: Selection Criteria
After the last date of filling out the admission form, the list of provisionally admitted candidates will be displayed on the University's website. All such provisionally admitted candidates have to deposit the prescribed Jiwaji University BCom fees.
After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced
Jiwaji University offers admission to various UG and PG level programmes on the basis of merit and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. The University considers a minimum aggregate of 45% to 60% in Class 12 and/or 50% to 55% in graduation, depending on the level of the course candidate must have opted for. In addition to this, for majority of courses, candidates must secure valid scores in CUET UG/PG, CMAT, NEET PG, GATE or other valid entrance exams.
