Yes, JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) offers scholarships to eligible and deserving M.Tech students under two categories. GATE-qualified candidates are eligible for a scholarship of INR 12,400 per month. Non-GATE-qualified candidates are eligible to a TA-ship if the university finds them deserving.

JKLU offers Early Bird Scholarships to candidates who apply in various application rounds conducted by the university. Below is the criteria:

• In Round 1, an extra 15% scholarship is granted
• In Round 2, an additional 10% scholarship is provided
• In Round 3, an extra 5% scholarship 

All scholarships are expressed as a percentage of academic fee exclusively. No scholarship covers technology fee, hostel, transport, and mess charges.

JK Lakshmipat University offers seats in UG, PG and PhD courses based on entrance exam scores. The university conducts JKLU DET for admission to BDes and MDes programmes. JKLU also accepts CUET-UG and GATE scores for admission to specific programmes. The university also conducts merit-based assessment for a seat in BBA and BTech programmes. Selected candidates are further called for personal interview or personal interaction rounds. Once selected, aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

JK Lakshmipat University is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are eligible to apply for JK Lakshmipat University BTech admission. Further, they must have scored a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12. Students appearing for final examination of Class 12 may also apply. JK Lakshmipat University applications are currently open for 2025 admission. The university has not released any deadline for now.
