The Admission process and eligibility criteria at Kalinga University is based on the merit list of students.

The student who has passed his/her  graduation B.Sc with minimum of 40% marks is eligible and just he or she has to give an entrance exam of Kalinga University named KALSEE ( Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam). It is a CBT which is compulsory for all students to who wants to take admission in the university. It is a 90 minute duration with 90 MCQs test which has no negative markings. Eligibility: To get admission in UG courses including BSc, BA, BTech, BPharma, candidates must have passed Class 12 and, appear for Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Exam (KALSEE). MBA admission requires to appear for Kalinga Management Aptitude Test (KAL-MAT).

Application: Candidates must apply on the official website of Kalinga University. 

Pay the Fee: Selected students will have to deposit the fee within ten- working days after the declaration of the qualified candidate’s list.

 The admission seats in the university varies from course to course in the university. The student who has passed his/her 12th with 45% marks can apply for admission. The university conducts it's own entrance exam KALSEE (kalinga Scholastic entrance exam) for admission in various courses, and the number of seats in B.Sc depends on various factors such as how many students has applied for the B.Sc programme and it may vary time to time and depends on some factors such as  vailabilityof seats, eligibility criteria, and the number of applicant's actions received by the university in that year .

The course fees for three years BBA course at Kalinga University is around INR 3.3 lakh. The course fee might include multiple fee components. Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the qualified candidate's list. Students can pay the fee by any mode (Online/ Cheque/Draft).

Kalinga University for BTech admission 2025 is open now. For BTech admission, candidates must have completed twelve years of school education first. Eligible candidates are then to apply for the in-house entrance exam. Applicants must appear for the exam and secure at least 50% in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). After the exam, shortlisted candidates are qualified for the final round. Selected candidates will have to deposit the fee within ten working days after the declaration of the Successful candidate's list. In case the fee is not deposited in the stipulated time, the student's claim to the admission expires & the same will be passed on to the first waiting list candidates. 

Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE) exam dates are not yet out. However, as per the Kalinga University, the exam is likely to be conducted between July 2025 to August 2025. The KALSEE application forms are out now, candidates must fill out the online form available on the website of the University. Candidates can follow the KALSEE exam pattern for the UG programme. The exam is computer-based and contains a total of 90 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that candidates need to attempt in 90 minutes. 

Kalinga University offers decent placements for its UG, PG, and Diploma programme. As per the report, 475 UG and 426 PG students were placed during Kalinga University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG students ranged between INR 2.5 LPA and INR 4.2 LPA,  respectively. For PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses, the median package stood at INR 2.55 LPA and INR 4.5 LPA, respectively.

The Department takes right steps in identifying the demands of the current industry and prepares our students towards this need. Adequate emphasis is given for soft skill development complementing the regular academic programmes

Aptitude tests and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to enable the students to improve their performance in competitive exams. The Training Placement Officer who is assisted by ATPO and other faculty and student representatives from all the departments heads this unit. Job oriented courses and special training programmes are regularly conducted. Kalinga University also arranges guest lectures, visiting faculty members for training students and faculty members too, from time to time.

 Kalinga University BTech syllabus is quite well-rounded with a perfect mix of core B Tech subjects along with a pool of interesting electives, practical training via lab work, internship opportunities, soft skill development, and a final year research project. The BTech subjects taught in the classes help the students gain a lot of transferable skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical aptitude, active learning and innovation, and technical know-how of the industrial working.
