KGMU Lucknow offers direct admission to only BSc aspirants. For BSc course, the selection is based on the last qualifying exam of Class 12. For other Medical and Dental courses such as MBBS, BDS, MD, DM, etc., candidates are selected based on national-level entrance exams. Admission to these courses is completely based on a valid scores of NEET UG, NEET PG, NEET SS, etc., entrance exams. KGMU cutoff 2024 for NEET UG Round 5 seat allotment has been released for the ST AI category candidates. As per KGMU NEET cutoff 2024, the cutoff rank for BDS for the ST category candidates belonging to All India Quota is 320828. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), conducts NEET UG counselling across various rounds and categories. Tabulated below are the closing ranks for year-wise BDS cutoff for the ST category (All India) students:

KGMU grants admission to various UG and PG courses on the basis of various exams. For MD and MS specialisations, the cutoff is released on the basis of NEET PG. For MBBS and BDS admission, the cutoff is released on the basis of performance in the NEET and UP NEET exams. For MDS, NEET MDS is accepted and for MD/MDS, UP NEET PG is accepted. NEET SS, Meghalaya MBBS and Arunachal Pradesh NEET are also accepting exams for some courses.
KGMU accepts NEET PG scores for the admission to MD and MS specialisations. Recently, KGMU cutoff 2024 Round 2 seat allotment has been released by the institute. As per the cutoff data, the Round 2 ranged between 295 and, 101494 for the General AI category candidates. Among all the courses, the most desirable course among candidates was MD in Radiodiagnosis.

Commonly asked questions On M.Ch. Fees
The NEET SS application fee is INR 3,500. The fee is same for candidates belonging to each category. This is the application fee for each group. Hence, candidates planning to apply for two groups will have to pay INR 7,000 (3,500 + 3,500). The fee has to be paid in online mode, via credit/debit card or net banking. NBE states, "Applications forms once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Fee shall neither be carried forward to a future date nor refunded under any circumstances. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Any claim for refund, adjustment or carrying forward of Application fee will not be entertained. Examination fees in respect of candidates who are absent or have been declared ineligible due to any reason will be forfeited." As compared to last year, the fee has been reduced. Last year, the fee amount was INR 4,250 for each group.
Candidates who qualify the selection process for various UG & PG courses at KGMU are offered admission. After the commencement of the counselling process, the selected candidates are required to pay fee for the respective courses to confirm their seats.
