King George's Medical University is a goverment university which was established in 1905. The university is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and is approved by UGC, DCI, and MCI. As per KGMU NEET cutoff 2024, the cutoff rank for BDS for the ST category candidates belonging to All India Quota is 320828. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), conducts NEET UG counselling across various rounds and categories. KGMU accepts admission to most of the Medical courses through a valid score in NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to the BDS and MBBS programmes in India. According to the KGMU (King George's Medical University) cutoff for Round 2 in 2023, the closing ranks for all BDS and MBBS specialisations ranged from 1647 to 26203. KGMU fees further depends upon the course or specialisation selected by the students. 

Yes, KGMU offers hostel facilities to its students. Candidates from general category are required to pay INR 48,100 (With Hostel charges) and 43,200 (Without Hostel charges). However, OBC/ SC/ ST category students are required to pay INR 42100 (With Hostel charges) and INR 37200 (Without Hostel charges).

To get admission into KGMU throught UP NEET exam, student must target the rank as per the cutoff list. As per the cutoff, the closing rank for General Home State category stood at 3484. Among the OBC HS category the last round closing rank was 3665. For SC Home State, ST Home State and PWD Home State category candidates also, the cutoff ranks were lenient than 3000. Therefore, it is possible to get admission into KGMU through UP NEET rank of 3000.
