KIIT University MBA/PGDM Highlights 2025

MBA is a two-year programme offered by School of Management. KSOM has launched four new MBA programmes for a duration of two years. Kalinga School of Rural Management offers two MBA specialisations-Agribusiness Management and Rural Management. Admission to MBA programme is based on KIITEE Management/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT score followed by GDPI round. The total fee for MBA (except Rural Management and Agribusiness Management) is INR 10.18 lakh. Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate and Class 10 and 12 board examination with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA are eligible to apply for MBA.

Placements: In this university, there are 100% placements. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Adani Wilmar, UPL, Bayer, Syngenta, Veggrow, Dehaat, and Rasi Sees.

Infrastructure: The university has a central library and air-conditioned classrooms. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel is very hygienic. Workers wash bathrooms twice a day. The food is very good in the mess. There are many sports in our college. Medical facilities and a hospital are present in this university.

Faculty: In this university, professors are highly educated from IIMS. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are very easy to understand. Semester-end examinations are a bit difficult, so you have to study hard. The course is very good.

Great experience at KSRM.

Placements: 100% placement with the highest package of 13 Lacs, where the average package goes up to 6.5 Lacs. Top companies like Adani Wilmar, Amul, ITC, HDFC Bank, Chola Finance, BFIL, NDDB, etc. came here for recruitment. All the students from our college got internship chances in various sectors like INPUT, FMCG, FINANCE, etc.

Infrastructure: KSRM's campus has a wonderful environment and infrastructure which provides a comfortable zone for quality studies. The classrooms are well-equipped with technology which is required for maintaining the quality of education. The hostel rooms are well-maintained, and the quality of the food is so good.

Faculty: Highly experienced faculty provide us with knowledge and train us for the industry. In the Agri-business management course, we have 4 internships, which provide exposure and experience from different industries. Semester exams are hard but achievable, and all the faculty members provide us with quality knowledge as well as proper mentoring for achieving our goals.

Placements: 100 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 13 Lacs, the lowest 6 Lacs, and the average 7 Lacs. Bfil, Icici, Adani Wilmar, Itc, Vnr. 100% of students got internships from top companies like Vnr, Bayer, Syngenta, and Technoserve like Sales, Marketing, Division Manager, and Territory Manager.

Infrastructure: It provides modern infrastructure, offering all types of facilities to students. The hostel provides comfortable and spacious rooms with hygienic food. The food is served according to the menu with a variety of items. 24x7 medical facilities are provided with good infrastructure.

Faculty: KSRM offers high-class facilities, including Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and a well-stocked library. The hostel provides comfortable, double-bedded rooms with quality food in the mess. Medical care, a gym, and indoor sports facilities are also provided. Semester exams are quite difficult, and evaluations are usually strict, maintaining good decorum. Pass percentage: 100%.

Other: This course offers a blend of academic and practical field exposure, focusing on rural development, aligning with my interests. Strong industry exposure and excellent faculty support. The campus is vibrant with regular events, guest talks, and extracurricular activities.

Placements: 100% students were placed in our campus. Major recruiters for ABM are Adani Wilmar, PI Industries, Reliance Retail, Rasi Seeds, Bayer Crop Science, Syngenta Seeds, VNR Seeds, Pan Seeds, Technoserve, Vegrow, ITC, ABD Fertilizers India, Crystal Crop Care, and Nuziveedu Seeds. 100% placements for internships also took place. I have also been placed in a reputed agri-input company.

Infrastructure: KSRM contains state-of-the-art infrastructure where we are enabled with Wi-Fi, classrooms with big screens, and a library. We can say it is a treasure of knowledge, where the books are of international level, and many research articles are found in the library throughout the year.

Faculty: KSRM curriculum is uniquely oriented towards practical and field learning. The faculty are majorly from IIMs and IRMA, where they prepare us to be industry-ready professionals in the sector. A 100% pass rate is ensured by the teaching of the faculty. Exams here really test our knowledge in the sector.

Other: There are many relief camps that take place in the institute to build mental wellness, as yoga, meditation, and sports events take place frequently in the B-School. Year-round industry guest talks and alumni talks take place. National Agribusiness and Rural Management Conclaves are held to make industry-ready professionals in the rural and agribusiness sectors.

Really good infrastructure and faculty facilities of the batch 2023-2025.

Placements: The majority of the people are placed in various sectors like microfinance banks, agri-input companies like SEED, pesticide companies, and development sectors. The placement process there will be continuous improvement and support for the entire placement process, and there will be 100% placement on this campus.

Infrastructure: The mess and food facilities are good, the library and the availability of the food with hygiene and quality. Many times they will offer various varieties, and every day they will clean the hostel, providing very hygienic food and also good facilities like Wi-Fi, electricity, etc.

Faculty: The faculty is good. They are industry-experienced, and also they have been in the teaching field for the last 10-20 years. They will share their experience in the classroom with industry examples, so every faculty member teaches in a different way, with the best academic and industry examples.

Other: The course I am currently taking, ABM, is good with the faculty and placement process.

Placements: 100% placements. 14 Lacs is the highest package, 8 Lacs is the average package, and 6 Lacs is the lowest. ITC Limited, Solidaridad, Srijan, Pradan, Jeevika, PCI, NDDB, HDFC, Annapurna MFI, BFIL. 100% internship. Area Manager, Cluster Manager, Programme Executive, Cluster Coordinator.

Infrastructure: Hostels are equipped with Wi-Fi, study areas, and student activity rooms. Canteens provide meals 4 times a day, with good quality meals. The university has a hospital where medical facilities are provided. Sports and games are part of the curriculum. The college has seminar halls, conference halls, and AC classrooms.

Faculty: Qualified teachers from IRMA, IIT, IIM. We have 3 field segments that provide better learning before entering the professional world. This is one of the best B-schools, providing a learning experience and quality education by professors. They guide us as faculty mentors.
