It was the worst experience from my college.

Placements: There was no placement cell. Students didn't receive any placements through the college. Even though English offered low-level banking placements, students needed a high percentage, like 75% or above, to get jobs. Despite all this, there were no placements provided by the college.

Infrastructure: In the college, there was no hostel. They only provided classrooms, and the libraries were usually closed and shut permanently after 5:00 p.m. There was no option for Wi-Fi connectivity. There were labs, but they didn't have any equipment.

Faculty: Teachers were not helpful to students. They were qualified, but they didn’t want to help. The teaching quality was very poor. The semester exams were very difficult, and the college’s passing percentage was very low. They had issues with the correction of answer sheets.

Other: My course was useless. I chose a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I wished the college had improved its infrastructure and the quality of its teachers.

Something you need to know about UOK.

Placements: I didn't say anything about the placement but according to my seniors, this university is just for pursuing a degree and it doesn't give any placement opportunities in my course. You can search for the placement opportunity or job opportunity yourself.

Infrastructure: If we talk about specific course, the admission rate is not much higher; just like in my class, there are only 11 students classroom are decent for study projects; projectors are available Wi-Fi on the whole campus is available; labs are good and also in the case of library books of every field, they are there whether you are studying for UPSC, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. Boys hostel is decent .

Faculty: All the teachers who taught us in this course are either Ph.D. scholars or the professor themselves, and they are both well qualified and the teaching quality is decent. It all depends on the level of understanding; if we talk about the semester exams difficulty level, it's not that much higher .

Review of UOK by a Hosteller.

Placements: 30 students are in my class. All of them are exceptional. The highest package at the University of Kotak was 16 Lacs INR, which is quite great, and the lowest package was 2 Lacs. There are many companies sponsoring, and the alumni network is quite strong. You will get a placement through a solid connection.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity is good, giving a max speed of 80mb/s or 10MB/s. The infrastructure of the hostel is good, and the mess is quite good too. In the hostel, the rooms are quite spacious, and the facilities for sports in the auditorium are of the best quality. You just need the permission of the HOD to get into the auditorium.

Faculty: The faculty is of the best professors, who are quite friendly and helpful. The teaching quality of the math professor is the best; she is the best teacher, and the curriculum is quite flexible. The pass percentage is 30% of max marks, and the professors will complete their syllabus smoothly.

Other: I chose this course as I'm studying for competitive exams, as this course is a general pass course.

A well-known university in the area.

Placements: New startups, banks like HDFC, SBI, BOB, etc., tech companies, etc., come to hire students. All types of companies come to hire students. If you have extra knowledge, then you are prioritized for that role. You can apply in the skill development programme to learn new skills.

Infrastructure: Well-furnished classrooms and labs are there, and a good library is available for self-study. Well-ventilated hostels are available with a mess. Separate hostels for boys and girls. An auditorium for sport-loving students, and a ground. Parking facilities are also available for all students and teachers.

Faculty: Good teachers, well-informative syllabus, study is all industry-related. Semesters are something difficult, requiring 40% marks to clear a subject out of total marks. Otherwise, you fail in that exam and have to reattempt the exam in the next academic year.

My overall experience of this college was quite good.

Placements: Most students don't go for placement seeking in this college, despite going for higher studies like master's. This college also provide master's in every field you see just like science, arts, etc. This college also provides short-term courses in emerging fields in the present time.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the main thing in this college. The classes are quite spacious. Labs are quite equipped with the latest equipment. There is a big library hall with all curriculum books and a ventilated area for sitting for students. The canteen is also there in this college and the food quality is top-notch here.

Faculty: The faculty is very well managed by the management of this college. There isn't a single day when there is no teacher in the classroom. The classes are upto the time. The faculty provide every minute details and information about the curriculum. The difficulty level is not based on curriculum; it is based on students how much they have prepared for exams. The passing percentage is approximately 70–80%.

Other: The reason for choosing this college and this course (BSc math) is because I want to pursue my career in the research field. The improvement that can be made in the course is to provide more practical information about the curriculum.

It's a good college for local people and those who can't afford fees of higher education.

Placements: College does not provide many placements, and only a small number of students are placed based on their previous year's performance. If you want placements, this university is not for you because it only provides higher education and does not guarantee placements.

Infrastructure: There are no CCTV cameras in the labs or rooms. They don't have any hostels. The university is beautifully designed and has a nice cricket and football field. They have labs for each subject and each year. The university has two entrance gates.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, well-behaved, and eager to assist students, but some staff members are uncooperative. Courses are adequate for competitive exams, but exam halls and classrooms are filthy, and tables and benches are in poor condition.

Other: The course is not so expensive and this gives you a degree of higher education.

I rate average in this college.

Placements: I was in JDB Science College under Kotak University and None of my batchmates got placed in any company because there is no placement team or placement drive organized there we just get a degree that we are graduate. During the course, they organize some career-oriented sessions but they are only focused on completing courses.

Infrastructure: Classes and libraries are in good condition. But the washroom areas are not in a condition to using. The ground area is also not that good. The area behind the college campus is full of grass and in rain, it's full of water but the front area is fine and good.

Faculty: All the faculty members and teachers are very good they are too supportive at every moment. Also in exams, they help us in preparing notes and how we can complete our practice exams and lab activities. Even in other activities, they encouraged us to do.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 60 to 70% of students were placed. The salary package offered was 5 to 10 LPA. Many companies recruit students. Around 70 to 80% of students got internships in many companies.

Infrastructure: University has good facilities like one lab, one library, and many classrooms. It has a hostel with canteen and mess facilities with good food. Sports and games facilities are available. College has very good facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. If students have good studies then the semester exam has no difficulties. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course as I am interested in Mathematics.
