MAT is conducted multiple times a year. Most of the MBA entrance exams in India are conducted annually. MAT is the only exam that is conducted multiple times in four phases and multiple exam modes. To make it possible for every MBA aspirant to appear for an entrance exam, AIMA designed MAT, which can be taken by candidates from an exam center as well as at home. For an MBA in International Business and Hospital Administration, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 48% for General category candidates of Rajasthan, and 60% aggregate for other states' candidates.

The University of Kota is accredited with a 'B' Grade by NAAC. Kota University was established in 2003 by the Government of Rajasthan and is approved by UGC.
