Karnataka State Open University offers open and distance Learning (ODL) courses. The university offers access to e-content, E-access to SLMs, books, and journals in the main library, and online lectures. The university considers it by virtue of the performance of the candidate in their qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) and not through any entrance test. KSOU offers courses on the basis of valid merit results. Candidates must apply for admission, online and qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Karnataka State Open University Mysore offers 420+ courses in UG, PG and PhD level on the basis of merit or entrance.
