MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. For other UG and PG courses, Rohilkhand University accepts a valid scores of CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams. Later on, the selected students are allocated seats via a counselling process. MJPRU admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the UG & PG courses. For PG courses, MJPRU conducts the MJPRU entrance exam. Apart from that for courses such as BPharm, BTech, MBA, MCA, etc., the university accepts valid scores of JEE Main, CUET UG & CUET PG entrance exams. Further, for other UG courses, admissions are entirely based on the merit obtained in the previous qualifying exam.

Students who are offered BPharma admission to MJPRU must report to the university campus with original copies of the following documents:

• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
