For admission to MSc Microbiology the candidate should have cleared BSc. Three years course with 45% marks having Zoology Botany, Chemistry Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology combination or BSc Medical Microbiology or Biotechnology or Bioscience. MJPRU MSc Admission 2022: Under the stream of Science, the University offers a full-time two-year MSc Programme at the PG level. MJPRU admissions to the MSc Programme are based on the MJPRU Entrance Exam conducted by the University. 

MJPRU Bareilly admissions are both merit and entrance-based for respective UG and PG courses. For a few UG courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, etc., admissions are offered based on candidates' merit scores obtained in their last qualifying exam. Further, to get admission to courses such as LLB, MEd, MSc, etc., candidates have to qualify for the university-level entrance exam. The university offers UG and PG courses across various specilisations such as Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, Medical, and others. MJPRU Bareilly conducts its entrance exam such as MJPRU Entrance Exam for admission to specific courses. National-level entrance exams like CUET UG, CUET PG,  JEE Main, etc., are also accepted by the university.
