Mangalore University does accept the scores of its university-level entrance exam for admissions to MA courses. Moreover, on the official website of the university, the accepted scores of Karnatka PGCET are not mentioned anywhere. However, the university is affiliated with various colleges. So, there are chances that some of the university-affiliated colleges might accept the scores of the Karnataka PGCET for admissions to MA courses. To get a better clarification, candidates are suggested to directly reach out to the admission department of the university/ affiliated-colleges. 

The eligibility criteria for MA students at Mangalore University to apply for the Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child is as follows: 

• Applicant must be a single/only girl child in the family
• The applicant's age must be equal to or less than 30 years. 
• Be pursuing the course in regular mode (distance education is not eligible).
• Have secured admission in the first year of a full-time MA program. 

Candidates seeking admission to the MA programme offered at Mangalore University in any of the specialisation must pay the Mangalore University MA fee, which ranges from INR 6,300 to INR 22,700. Apart from the tuition fee, they are also required to pay the hostel fees and one-time admission fees to the college.

The eligibility criteria to get admissions into MA courses at Mangalore University are candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates). Moreover, candidates who want to pursue a master's degree in economics must complete their bachelor's degree and must have studied Economics as major/optional subject.
