College environment and the staff members.

Placements: Many internship opportunities are provided by the campus in a lot of fields, like marine biology or research-based internships in biotechnology, with a lot of freedom to perform experiments under guidance, if we wish to. From the 2nd year onwards, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies, like Infosys and Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. The highest package offered is 10 lacs, and the minimum is 3 lacs. Overall, 70% of students get placed yearly, which is great.

Infrastructure: Many fests are organized, including Utsav, which is organized by juniors. There are many libraries in our college, with a wide variety of books available to borrow or read there. We have smart classes, and cleanliness is maintained daily. My favorite part was when I became the cultural secretary of the council. It was my dream from the first year to the final year; when I became it, I was pumped up to win more prizes for the college and for myself also.

Faculty: The faculty members are very professional and have good experience. There are no newbie staff; all are experienced. The college itself is the exam center. The exams are conducted very sincerely; there are no malpractices. The most accurate and best teacher is Saranya ma'am; she is the HOD of IT. I didn't like the attitude of Immaculate ma'am.

Large campus with different blocks for different courses.

Placements: From the 4th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements. The big 4 companies, Amazon and other MNCs, visit our college and make an average offer of Rs 6,00,000 annually. The highest package offered is Rs 15,00,000 annually and the average package is Rs 3,00,000 annually.

Infrastructure: Mangalore University has 3 boys hostels and 1 lady hostel. Boys hostel is very nice. In a room there will be a bed, a table for study, a shelf for each student, and a light facility and fan. 4 meals are there, like breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner. The registration process is very easy and fees are 2800 per month.

Faculty: I chose it because of computers I love computers I needed to learn some computer-related stuff. We were 50 and 14 staff members; we had 6–8 subjects varied semester to semester. They were well educated; some lectures had MSc MCA MBA multiple degrees; some were just MCA/MSC. Semester system, which is twice a year, & we used to get 1-month study holidays so easy. There is equal importance given to sports and education.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is quite high. Every year, many recruiters visit the college and hire deserving candidates. Companies like IBM and Amazon visit the college. The college even has collaborations with some international universities and several other NGOs that present various opportunities for networking.

Infrastructure: You can choose between normal and AC rooms, with 1-2 students per room based on your preference. Meals are good; you will get chicken twice a week and eggs twice a week, meaning 4 out of 7 days you will have non-vegetarian options. The hostel is located on campus. Hostel fee: INR 72,000 per year.

Faculty: The course is very easy and well-structured. They provide a planner for the entire three years at the start of the first year. The course is divided into six semesters. The exams are conducted with great ease, and preparatory holidays are also given. Teachers conduct regular internal assessments that really help in better learning and knowledge.

Overall, the best university for M.Sc. in Chemistry Course.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placement in our course. The highest salary offered is 22 LPA and the average salary offered is 6 LPA. About 73% of students get an internship in our course. Major recruiters are HPCL, ONGC, BPCL, IOCL, etc. Top roles offered are HR, sales manager, and many others.

Infrastructure: From villas to multiple halls, there is a swimming pool, parking, beautiful gardens, and many other attractions for everyone. We can watch and learn a lot inside the classroom as well as outside. When it comes to hostels, they are cheap and not very good.

Faculty: Teachers at our university are well educated and help with many extracurricular activities. The teaching quality is quite good. My studies were not related to the curriculum, but they helped me a lot professionally, and I got higher opportunities at work. Semester exams are not that difficult, and the pass rate is around 75%.

We spent our college life very happily.

Placements: 60%–70% of students are placed in organic and other companies. The highest package offered was 4,80,000 per annum. Some students have taken up teaching posts after a MSc in a few colleges, with a salary of 30,000 per month. 20% of students are placed with some companies, like Tata, EV , Wipro, etc. Some students are doing research in the college lab .

Infrastructure: College has big labs, organic and inorganic. Classrooms are good and comfortable for the students. There is a hostel facility for girls, not for boys . The college canteen has good food available . There is a big library and books for study essentials.

Faculty: All teachers are postgraduates, and Dr. They always help in solving students queries. Teachers let students hand on practical. They motivate themselves in different ways. The passing percentage in our course is around 90 to 95%. Exams are not difficult .

The college campus is so nice. The Peace Park is amazing and clean.

Placements: From the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus placements. Oil India Limited recruited 2 students, NRL recruited 4, TVS recruited 5, Ashok Leyland recruited 3, Hero Motors recruited 5, and Cognizant recruited 13. The highest placement offered is 24 lakh per year from Oil India Limited to a Mechanical Engineering student. Nearly 50% of the students get placed or receive an offer. My plan after graduating is to secure a job with Oil India Limited.

Infrastructure: The college campus experience is nice, with no violence present. Students are treated with strict discipline, and they are regarded as the best in the whole district. There are many clubs that provide opportunities for students to uplift their lives in society. The sports students are well-behaved and maintain good discipline in the community.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:4, and the relationship between faculty and students is like that of a father and child. They address our issues without any arrogance or ignorance. I particularly like Mr. Piyush Singh and Mr. Devatshi Kashyap. One of them is my mentor, while the other is my favorite subject teacher; it is only because of him that I fell in love with Engineering Mechanics. There are two exams each year conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). The level of the paper is moderate—neither too difficult nor too easy. About 75% of students pass the exam, while the other 25% are those who have backlogs in any subjects.

The facilities of the campus were very nice and they have a huge library.

Placements: The students who were in last semester and last year are eligible for the placements and some students who had a minimum of 70% in the previous semesters are eligible for the placements. The highest package is 7 lacs, and the average package is 4 lacs. Some students were getting job roles and some students were planning for foreign states.

Infrastructure: Bangalore University has 3 boys hostels and 1 ladies hostel. The boys' hostel is very nice. There will be a bed, a table for study, a shelf for each student, and a light facility and fan. There are 4 meals: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The registration process is very easy and the fees are 2800 per month.

Faculty: The curriculum is very well designed, targeting the scientific needs of the world. The flexible credit system can help students choose the electives of their choice. The curriculum also includes a soft skills programme in order to develop the communication skills of the students. Scientific research topics are to be included in the curriculum. The academic exams are very difficult but they are a testament to the standards of a student.

Value for money college but no placements.

Placements: This college does not provide placements in our course. Students have to find their own internships and placements. But with good academic records and studies, students can easily get jobs. The average package in the course is around INR 4-5 LPA. The top roles offered are those of chemist, junior scientist, food instructor, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure. The college has labs, a library, a canteen, Wi-Fi, etc. on the campus. The library has all the required books and the labs are well equipped. The campus of the college is also secured with CCTV cameras. The hostel of the college is also near the campus. The food in the hostel mess is good. The rooms and toilets are also cleaned on a daily basis.

Faculty: Due to being one of the oldest universities, the college has experienced faculty members in all the courses. Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The faculty is very supportive of the students. All the teachers used to help us with our project work. Used to conduct various industry visits. The exams are of a moderately difficult level.

Other: Overall, college is a value-for-money college. Except placements, everything in the college is good. You can get ample opportunities outside for off-campus placements and internships.
