No, MAKAUT MCA admission process is entrance-based. The university only accepts JECA scores for inducting students to its MCA course. Thus, students seeking admission to this course must apply and appear for the aforementioned exam. Moreover, the students must also fulfill the eligibility requirements prescribed by the university.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech must have a valid score in WBJEE. Those willing to get admission in the second year must appear for JELET (for Lateral Entry).
