As per the official website of MIT WPU Pune, the entrance exam is compulsory for admission to the MBA course. The university accepts multiple national-level entrance exams such as MAT, XAT, CMAT, MAH CET, etc., for admission to the MBA course. CAT is among the different entrance exams that are required for admission. Therefore CAT exam is not compulsory for MBA admission at MIT WPU, since the university accepts other enytrance exam as well. However, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field which is compulsory for MBA admission. 

MIT-WPU Pune offers an MBA in dual degree for Graduates. A dual degree allows students to pursue a Master's Degree along with another degree in a different area of study.
