MIT-WPU, Pune offers an MTech programme in full-time mode across six specialisations and 14 sub-specialisations. The programme is offered for two years duration, spread across six trimesters. To seek MIT-WPU MTech admission, candidates need to possess a non-zero positive score in GATE. For admission under the sponsored category, candidates should have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute/ any government department or government autonomous organisation in the relevant field in which admission is sought. In case of vacant seats after the above process, candidates who do not possess a GATE score or work experience are considered for admission through a process of written test followed by an interview round in the respective MIT-WPU School of Engineering.

In order to get admission to MIT-WPU, Pune BTech course, candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50-60% aggregate in the PCM group. Admission to this course is completely entrance-based. Aspirants are required to appear in either JEE Main/ MHT CET/ PERA CET entrance exams. Admission to BTech at MIT-WPU, Pune is purely based on a valid score of candidates in the respective entrance exams and their past academic scores.
