The MNLU CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and BBA LLB course for General and PWD categories belonging to the All India quota. According to the Round 1 closing cutoff for the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 1096 to 1284, wherein LLM course specialisations were the hardest to get admission to, followed by BA LLB (Hons) course, with the closing cutoff in Round 1 being 1225

Really good infrastructure very good faculty.
Placements: Presently I'm in 1st year of my graduation. 1st semester I'm from bba ll.B. Hons. I guess placements will be good enough from now because ranking of the university was going and most of the people got internship in one or the other place and we all have internship coordination committee here in the university which look after internship.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure I was ultimately superb. We have well-equipped classrooms with digital boards and air conditioned. Seating criteria was very liberal. University Wi-Fi is available, library was good. When it comes to hostel they provide cooler, fan, light, study table, chair, wardrobe and bed. We need to adjust and habituate for the food because we came from different regions of the country and all facilities were good and sports equipment and facilities need to be upgraded.
Faculty: When it comes to faculty they are very friendly and very much supportive. We have two semesters per year. Full day classes from 9 30 am to 4 pm. Teachers are very approachive and they are very experienced and we can get very knowledgeable when we traveling with them. Teacher try to explain very practically when it comes to teaching. Pass percentage is 50%. Semesters are not tough when we understand the subject. We enjoy while learning both law and business parallel.
Other: I choose it as I want to be a coperate business person or legal advise in corporate. It will be very helpful for me when I was learning law and business simultaneously. Events, fest are very enjoyable. Senior are very connective and mainly no ragging is allowed in the campus and also in hostel.

The university has great infrastructure and good environment .
Placements: We do not have campus placement yet, but the cell provides help in getting internships. We also get letters of recommendation, and the professors also support students as much as possible. Furthermore, we have a large pool of alumni working in top firms, under great advocates, and also studying at colleges abroad.
Infrastructure: The campus is new, and development is unique and amazing. The hostels are equipped with great facilities like centralized AC, water coolers, washing machines, furniture, etc. Along with this, the mess serves food of great quality. The campus is equipped with various amenities.
Faculty: The professors range from a pool of young and old individuals, all highly qualified in various subject matters, and are very helpful. The curriculum follows a semester system with mid-semester, projects, and end-semester examinations. We also have extra credit courses.

Student Life at MNLU Nagpur.
Placements: At least 10-12 students were placed. The lowest package was 7 LPA, and the highest was 19 LPA. Various law firms, including Diwani and more, conduct placements for our university. Nearly everyone gets an internship under various advocates, judges, and firms.
Infrastructure: The college provides excellent facilities, including Wi-Fi, courtrooms, and a library, all of top-notch quality and digitally accessible. The hostels are excellent, with modern amenities like sensor-activated taps and air conditioning.
Faculty: The professors are qualified and helpful, but sometimes it feels that there could be more qualified or better professors available. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the legal profession. Semester exams are quite tough due to strict marking criteria, but 80% of students still pass.
Other: This is a traditional course that has been offered for a long time, making it well-established and refined.

Our college has a good placement record.
Placements: The college has a decent placement record, with the highest package reaching ₹22 Lacs per annum and the lowest around ₹3 Lacs per annum. Approximately 85% of students secure jobs or internships through the placement process. Popular roles offered include software engineer, data analyst, and management consultant, reflecting a diverse range of opportunities for graduates. Last year, the median package was ₹7 Lacs, and almost 80% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Everything is great here. The canteen serves clean and healthy food, and the medical facilities are good. We have a wide range of books in the library, and there are plenty of sports activities for everyone. The Wi-Fi and network connection work well, making it easy to get things done. Plus, the environment is comfortable and supportive, and the community here is really friendly.
Faculty: Overall, the teachers are good, and some really try to guide students for their future careers. The courses are okay but could be improved to make them better. I would rate the job readiness at around 7 out of 10. The exams are usually of medium difficulty, but sometimes they can be hard. The passing rate is probably around 40 to 50%, I think.

NLU, Nagpur is not for beginners.
Placements: I am in my fifth semester. And we have 120 B.A. students. The remaining courses are BBA and LL.B. Both the LL.B. and adjudication batches have 60 students each. The university has a dedicated placement cell that assists students in obtaining internships and job placements at top law firms, corporations, and government agencies. Last year, the TRILEGAL offered the highest package of 16 LPAs.
Infrastructure: The campus has many modern amenities, such as a well-stocked library, moot court halls, and advanced classrooms. We currently have the largest campus among the several NLUs, at 64 acres. We also have world-class hostels on campus, with separate facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are very clean, and there is a gym and common room.
Faculty: NLU, Nagpur, has both experienced and young faculty members who are well-versed in their fields. Yes, they are industry-ready. Students here work hard as well. As a newer institution, the range of specialized courses and electives is more limited than that of NLUs. Furthermore, the course curriculum is exceptionally well-designed. Because semester exams are more difficult, there are more diligent students, and the passing rate is 70%.
Other: I am a fifth-semester student who chose B.A. LL.B. because the faculty is more experienced than the other two courses. The university encourages and provides a variety of opportunities for students to engage in legal research and publication, as well as a well-equipped library and access to online legal databases, among other things. The university also organizes debates, seminars, and various sports and cultural festivals. Only one thing bothers me here: the administration, which causes everyone to experience delays in various processes.

Campus Life filled with fun at MNLU.
Placements: Mnlu is quite a new college established in 2014, and hence not many firms come for placements. Despite being a new NLU, it has done tremendously well in securing a few top-notch law firms like Trilegal and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. Also, mostly students look after their placements themselves in their own CVs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at our college is very good. Especially hostels are well-equipped with all modern amenities. All the rooms are double-sharing rooms, and each room has curtains, 2 beds, 2 study table, 2 cup boards, 4 almirahs, 1 cloth stand, 1 dustbin, Wi-Fi, etc. There are washing machines on each floor and a common gym .
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are achievers in their field. They are friendly and are ready to solve doubts even after classes in their chambers. Further, there is this CDC known as the Curriculum Development Committee, which updates the curriculum each year and hence keeps it according to the needs of the hour.
Other: 1. Superb mooting culture you get all the reimbursement for your mortgage expenses 2. You get reimbursement for your ADR expenses and debating expenses for the competition allotted by committees and hence there is a good mooting and debating culture here 3. Campus Life is marvelous you get to witness 2 cultural festivals, namely sanskarotsav and Lawkriti, and a sports festival named sportacus.

Q:   Can I join MNLU Nagpur directly?
A: 

No, MNLU Nagpur does not offer direct admission to its undergraduate or postgraduate courses. Admission to MNLU Nagpur is entirely dependent on entrance exams like CLAT, AIET etc. Students desired to take admission need to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) followed by the counseling procedure which is more like a filtration round. For admission to the LLM program, candidates need to sit for CLAT PG and follow the same procedure to go through the same criteria and get selected. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission LLB is an aggregate of 55% or more in higher secondary along with clearing the entrance. To be eligible for the LLM course the candidate require to hold a 3-year L.L.B. or 5-year Integrated L.L.B. degree from a recognised institute with at least 50% marks in aggregate. For Ph.D. admissions, applicants need to sit for an All India Entrance Test (AIET). The application process for MNLU Nagpur is offline only, and the application form should be submitted in person along with the requisite fees through Demand Draft/ cash.

Life at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur is good overall. The campus has all the basic amenities required for academic life, including reading cubicles, a digital library, hostel accommodation, air-conditioned smart classrooms, modern air-conditioned seminar halls, an open-air amphitheatre, a moot court, medical facilities, an outdoor sports complex, and a cafeteria . The university offers an integrated undergraduate degree programme of B.A.LL.B (Hons.) with an intake capacity of 120 students. Admissions for the 5-year integrated course are strictly based on merit list published as per CLAT process . The university also organizes cultural and sports events throughout the year . The gender ratio is 1:1, and the crowd is nice. People here are very helpful in nature, and you will easily blend with the environment here . However, the hostels are located at the outskirts of the city .

The  MNLU Nagpur LLM Cutoff 2026 was released for various categories under the All India quota till round 2 as of now. Further rounds are expected to be released soon. 

In the meantime, according to the General AI category cutoff in round 2, the LLM course and its various specialisations had a cutoff of 1158. Please remember that other courses, rounds, quotas, etc., will have different cutoffs accordingly. 

Q:   What is MNLU CLAT cutoff 2025 category-wise?
A: 

MNLU Nagpur cutoff 2025 has been released for round 1. The cutoff was released for General AI category and PWD AI category candidates, for BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) were 1353 and 1375. For the PWD AI category candidates, the closing ranks for BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) were 39273 and 45453

Q:   How to download MNLU Nagpur placement report?

The MNLU Nagpur placement report for the Class of 2024 is yet to be released. However, the institute has released the NIRF report 2024 on the official website which include the placement details of the batch 2023. Candidates can download the same from the official website or the Shiksha.com page.

The general category CLAT registration fee to appear in the exam is INR 3500, and the SC and ST categories will have to pay an amount of INR 3000 as a registration fee. In case the candidates need the previous year's papers CLAT, they have to make a payment of an amount of INR 500 in addition to the application fee. Q:   Is CLAT 2025 registration form out for UG programme at MNLU?
A: 

Yes, the CLAT 2025 Application form was declared on July 15. However, the selection of the UG courses is based on the CLAT exam. The Consortium of National Law Universities started the CLAT 2025 Registration on July 15, 2024, and applicants can apply up to October 15, 2024. It has to be done in online mode only. Only those applicants who successfully apply for CLAT 2025 will get permission to take up the exam. The dates mentioned above are tentative and hence subject to variation.

Q:   Which entrance exam is accepted for admission to B.A LL.B (Hons) course at MNLU?
A: 

MNLU Nagpur offers a five-year BA LLB (Hons) course. The candidate selection is totally based on the score at the entrance. The institute accepts the CLAT exam for shortlisting the candidates. Before the beginning of the admission process, required eligibility criteria need to be checked to move further with the enrollment process. If the applicant gets selected, then they need to submit all the required documents for the verification process.

Q:   What is the rank of CLAT for NLU Nagpur?

Q:   What is the rank required for admission to NLU Nagpur?
A: 

MNLU Nagpur CLAT cutoff 2026 has been released for Round 1. The cutoff was released as opening and closing cutoff ranks for different categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff was released for admission to BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons), and LLM courses. The round 1 closing ranks for BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) were 1225 and 1284, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. 

Therefore, students who belong to the aforementioned category needed to attain a rank above 1200 to increase their chances at admission at MNLU Nagpur. 

Note: This is the Round 1 closing cutoff ranks for the General AI category, other categories, rounds, courses will different cutoffs accordingly.
