The best college in Gujarat
Placements: From my batch, 10-15% of students were placed from the University, and the package they got is around 4.5-7.00 LPA. The top recurring companies are Sun Pharma, ONGC, etc. From the batch, almost all students get internships in different companies. The basic roles in my course for the internship and placement are quality analyst, QC, production manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The classroom labs and infrastructure of the college are among the best I have ever seen. As in campus, we get a free Wi-Fi facility. Also, the college library is the best place for reading in a peaceful surrounding. I had not used the hostel as I am a resident of Vadodara, but the sports facilities are too good. The college has its separate cricket ground, which was maintained by the Baroda Cricket Association. The college also has a pavilion where we can play games like football, volleyball, swimming, etc.
Faculty: The exam pattern is set to be hard to get the best possible outcome from the students. Teachers are very knowledgeable, and I will rate teaching quality 8/10. The semester exams are a little tough; you need to cover the syllabus to get good marks in them.
Other: I had to choose BSc chemistry because I am wanting to work in forensic science as well as in the pharma industry.

Really good infrastructure and great teachers with average placement in the company.
Placements: The approximate number of students in our course was around 180-200. The highest package paid was around 8 LPA. The average was about 5 LPA. The lowest was about 3 LPA. The companies were mostly polymer companies with some soap and shampoo companies which were producing chemical-related products. Around 70% of students got internships. Personally, I got an internship in Shakun Polymer in Gotri. The course offers a lab assistant position.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was kind of average in the college. It has a good canteen which offers affordable food. The classrooms allocated to us were 3, with 2 labs. The Wi-Fi was free for everyone in the college with great speed. The games were also good with a great indoor and outdoor stadium. Personally, I was not in the hostel so I cannot judge the food quality.
Faculty: The teachers in Chemistry were friendly and had great information with them which helped us a lot in the semester. Almost all teachers held Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. The exams and the mid-semester tests were tough enough to test your knowledge.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has very unique facilities.
Placements: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a famous college in Gujarat and in India. About 83% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Tata Ltd, Reliance Industries Ltd, etc.
Infrastructure: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has its personal hostel facilities. The hostel is very peaceful. It has a good canteen. They have clean classrooms and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Almost all games are played on campus.
Faculty: The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has higher experience professors with almost 15-20 years of experience. Our course professor helps students by solving their doubts. Our faculty members conduct a unique way examination.

It has the best and very friendly teachers, very good infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: All students did not get placed from our college. Very few companies visit here for placements, and it's improving day by day. Internships are not offered, but teachers will support in other curricular activities. Teachers encourage students to do other internships like SRF, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good here. Theatre classrooms and some other rooms are air-conditioned. There is an excellent library facility, and mostly all books are available in the library. There is a superb infrastructure in the library. Medical facilities are available for all the students of MSU. The canteen facility is also available.
Faculty: There are excellent faculty members here. They all are very friendly and supportive. All professors are highly qualified and involved in various research projects. Questions in exams are based on the topics of discussion in classes. The evolution of papers is comparatively hard.
Other: Every year science fairs and a youth festival are organised by faculty members here.

Overall the university is great and amazing.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students get placement after B.Sc. hons in chemistry ( as told by our seniors). And few students go for PG level of study. Overall the placement is good. But I prefer you to opt for M.Sc. after completing B.Sc. After that you will get a good placement.
Infrastructure: Campus is really very amazing. In terms of infrastructure this university comes at top level. Hostel facility is also very good. Cleanliness around the whole campus is great. And the campus is very large. Sports facilities are also there, you will find many games to play.
Faculty: Teachers in my faculty are very well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is amazing. The course curriculum is fully based on industry level. The semester exams are not that much difficult, if you have studied well then you will definitely score good marks in semester exams.

It is a good college at an affordable fee for students with very helpful and experienced teachers.
Placements: Top roles offered to the students are quality control, chemist, lab assistant, analytical head, research scientist and research assistant. You can get jobs in different companies likes Alembic, Sun Pharma, etc. Overall, many different roles are available for students in B.Sc chemistry. Teaching is also a good option for students who wanted to become teachers or professors.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good, and the infrastructure is also good. Hostel food is good, and every Sunday, some different food is served in the hostel mess. The canteen is very good, and the hygiene is very good. Our college is very clean and lush green with many trees and plants. It has a clean environment and a big library for students to read. Many different faculty members are also available here.
Faculty: Exams are of moderate level. My pass percentage is 79%. Teachers are good and helpful. The course makes us industry-ready in the final year, but we have to do M.Sc for good placements. Exams are not that difficult. Teachers are almost highly qualified with a PhD degree.
Other: I have chosen B.Sc chemistry. Many events, festivals and programs are held every year for students. Many sports activities are also conducted for students at MSU Pavilion.

It is the best place for any type of course.
Placements: I am from the 2016 batch of B.Sc chemistry course. The average salary offered here is Rs. 20,000 per month. Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd is the top recruiter for our course. Placements are good here, and the teachers support you a lot. They prepare you for campus placements very well. Before campus placements, training is provided. The highest salary package offered here is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus, and the lab facilities are good. Classrooms are huge and clean, and the campus has one of the biggest libraries in Vadodara. Hostels are good and available at a low price. The quality of the food served is average, and the canteen is good. For sports like cricket, etc., a stadium is available, and other games are also available.
Faculty: Overall, the education provided here is good. I completed my B.Sc in chemistry at MSU. The teachers here are very nice, supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. They make us to prepare for campus placements. Academics are overall satisfying. It is a well-known university, so it has appointed well-qualified teachers.

I am dissatisfied because of faculty members and management. They must improve website handling.
Placements: Less than 10% of the students got placed. The salary package offered is 1.2 LPA to 3.6 LPA, but it completely depends on students' academic performance. TCS, Sun Pharma and Deepak Chemicals are companies for placements. Roles offered are executive, QC and trainee chemist.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the library is pretty impressive, and services are up to the mark. The department of chemistry, especially classrooms, are below the mark in cleanliness. Moreover, there are many clashes for classes, and it is difficult to manage the timing.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but some of them are not that helpful. Teaching quality is average. They are differentiating students according to the payment structure. The course is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: The value of college is decreasing. People are paying just to get a degree. Thus there is no value of education, and our college staff members are also treating the same. Wi-Fi services are not good. Cafeteria needs to change the environment, and hygiene is also not maintained.

No, JEE exam is strictly considered for the admission to B. Tech or Architectural courses. M.Sc and PhD courses are available at the college but do not take admission on the JEE basis.
