- The TG LAWCET 2026 registration portal for admission to the 3-year LLB and 5-year Integrated LLB courses will remain active until May 5, 2026 (with a late fee of INR 2000). The TG LAWCET 2026 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 4th merit list is out for admission to the PG-level LLM programme. Students must pay the confirmation fee by May 8, 2026, to either Float or Freeze their allotted seats.
- The CLAT 2026 fourth merit list for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) courses is postponed. The new updated schedule will be announced on or after May 8, 2026.

NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. However, aspirants who wish to apply for MBA or BBA may not require CLAT and can get admission based on other accepted entrance exams.
Nalsar University is a Hyderabad based Law university which offers degrees in the field of law, like BA LLB ( Hons), B.Sc. LLB, LLM etc. Just like other colleges, here too the fee structure strictly depends upon the programme you are opting for, that is, the fee structure for BA LLB (Hons) will be different than that for the LLM students . According to this college's website the fee structure within the LLM will be different for different programs . I e , for LLM General students, the tuition fees will be 1,75,000 with a refundable deposite of 20,000 . whereas LLM in insolvency and bankruptcy law's students will have to pay a tuition fees of 2,25,000 with a refundable deposite of 20,000.
Aspirants are offered seat in NALSAR University of Law top courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and LLM based on CLAT score. Candidates with a good rank in CLAT have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, the selection for BBA is based on IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT scores. Nalsar University of law have courses on undergraduation post-graduation, Diploma and doctorate positions . The admission process is of 4 steps . First step is to register and fill the application form online for the courses other than BA LLB , on the official website of Nalsar University of law . For BA LLB, candidates are required to register through CLAT. Next the candidate need to pay INR 1000 for fees . Second step is to appear for CLAT exam to get admission in BA LLB and LLM programmes . Third step is counselling in which qualified candidates will be allotted seats and they have to accept it . Last step is to upload the required documents and submit fees under required time limit .
As per the eligibility criteria specified by NALSAR University, the minimum required aggregate ranges between 45% and 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, candidates also need to qualify the accepted entrance exam. Aspirants wishing to pursue BA LLB (Hons) must appear for CLAT. For BBA, aspirants with IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT score can apply for admission.
Aspirants who have passed a three-year LLB course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for NALSAR University of Law LLM programme. However, admission committee may decide to reduce the percentage of qualifying exam. Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam in April/ May are also eligible to apply.
Every year, CNLU releases CLAT Allotment lists for admission to all the National Law Universities in India including NALSAR. For 2024 admission, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT Fourth Allotment list 2024. However for NLU Hyderabad, the cutoff stands closed after round 1 of the seat allotmemt result.
During the NALSAR CLAT cutoff 2024 for the EWS category, the Round 1 closing rank for BA LLB is 564. So, candidates secring a rank of 600 in CLAT 2024 is not eligibe to get into NALSAR for BA LLB (Hons) admission.

In order to be admitted to NALSAR University of Law's Master of Laws (LLM) program, applicants must have earned at least 50% of their LLB or its equivalent. SC/ST candidates need to receive a minimum of 45% in their scores.

Department of Management Studies Nalsar University has zero tolerance policy towards ragging. The institute has a internal committe for ragging complains. The ragging cell helps the students to encourage and report the issue. Students who encounter ragging should report it to designated authorities
