NALSAR University LLM is a one-year programme offered at the PG level. During the course, students get to choose an elective course. Below are the optional courses available at NALSAR University of Law:

NALSAr University of Law offers admission to LLM programme through CLAT score. To get admission to the LLM programme, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:

1. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (For candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ PwD/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI category),
or
2. LLB or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate (For candidates belonging to SC/ ST category). 
Note: There is no age limit criteria for admission to LLM programme. Provided, if two candidates score's same marks in CLAT paper, then the candidate of higher age is given preference at the time of admission to the university. 

As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to LLM students in 2023 was INR 7 LPA. From 2021 to 2023, the median package has been stagnant. Yes, caution deposit is one of the fee components of NALSAR Hyderabad fee. The one-time refundable fee for LLM is INR 20,000. LLM is a one-year course offered by NALSAR. The total fee of LLM also includes other fee components such as exam fee, tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. The total fee for LLM is INR 1.87 lakh.

National Law University Kolkata, being a University of National importance since it's a NLU, offers great packages to its students be it in the BA LLB (Hons) or be it in LLM . Nalsar University stands behind NLU Kolkata (NUJS) with a great placement record over the years. In the year of 2022 NLU Kolkata placement stats were great with 96 out of 118 BA LLB students getting placed with a median package of 16pla. Out of 66 LLM students 44 students were placed with a median package of 7 lpa, which is respectable in itself.

NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Candidates looking forward to practising law in India, are required to clear the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) that is conducted by BCI. On clearing the AIBE exam, lawyers are awarded a ‘Certificate of Practice’ which is mandatory for practising the profession as an advocate in India. However, aspirants who wish to apply for MBA or BBA may not require CLAT and can get admission based on other accepted entrance exams.

Aspirants are offered seat in NALSAR University of Law top courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and LLM based on CLAT score. Candidates with a good rank in CLAT have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, the selection for BBA is based on IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT scores. Admission to MBA is based on CAT score. The university also conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for MBA.
