CLAT Rank Predictor 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released the CLAT First Merit List on January 7, 2026. The Consortium conducted the CLAT Exam on December 07, 2025. With the help of the CLAT Rank Predictor 2026, the aspirants will be able to know their expected CLAT 2026 ranks. CLAT Exam was conducted offline, in pen-and-paper mode. The CLAT 2026 Rank Predictor allows candidates to evaluate if they will get their dream NLU or not.

Q:   What is CLAT Exam Timing?
A:

The Consortium of NLUs conducts the CLAT Exam from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam is held only in one slot. There are no shifts in CLAT Exam. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode. 

Q:   What to carry on the CLAT Exam day?
A:

Apart from the CLATAdmit Card,  candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre:

  • Passport-sized photograph (same as the one uploaded with the application form)
  • A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter ID)
  • Transparent water bottle
Q:   What are the dos and don'ts for CLAT exam day?
A:
 On CLAT exam day, candidates have to follow a number of guidelines like cooperating with the exam centre staff during identification process, etc.:

CLAT exam day dos:

  1. Reach examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your CLAT admit card.
  2. Carry two copies of the CLAT admit card, one photo ID card, passport size photos
  3. PwD candidates should carry relevant certificates and documents. 
  4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet 

CLAT exam day don'ts:

  1. Do not carry items such as bags, purses, pencil box, beepers, wrist watch, calculators, mobile phones, electronic devices, scanners, cameras, wireless/Bluetooth transmission or any such communication devices.
  2. Don't wear closed shoes, jewellery made of metal, jackets, clothes with pockets, mehendi on palms. Socks are allowed inside it.
  3. Don't wear caps, hoodies or jackets/shirts with pockets 
  4. Don't be late for exam. Entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the commencement of exam. 

Shiksha has released the CLAT exam analysis to help candidates get an idea of their expected CLAT 2026 score and rank. The candidates can also check the CLAT cut off 2026 category-wise to get an idea about the good score required to crack the exam.

CLAT 2026 Rank Vs Marks 

The major difference between CLAT 2026 ranks and marks is: 

  • Marks are consolidated scores obtained in the CLAT exam
  • Ranks are positioned in each category based on marks and tie-breaking criteria

Therefore, it becomes essential for a candidate to score well in the CLAT exam, to get a higher rank in the merit list. Candidates must do CLAT marks versus ranks analysis to understand how the score they have secured can be converted into CLAT 2026 merit rank. Q:   When CLAT Objection Window will open?
A:

Candidates must note that CLAT 2026 Objection Window is now closed. Candidates could raise objection on CLAT Answer Key on or before December 12 until 5 pm. Once the objections were received, the consortium published the CLAT Final Answer Key. Based on that, the CLAT Result will be announced. 

Q:   What is CLAT 2027 date?
A:

The CLAT exam will be conducted in December 2026. The exam timing will be 2 pm to 4 pm. The consortium has not announced the CLAT Exam Dates yet.

Both CLAT rank and marks are the deciding factors for the merit list, as the exam authority allots ranks based on marks obtained by candidates. It must be noted that the CLAT Rank predicted by the shiksha.com CLAT Rank 2026 tool is not final. The final and foremost decision is of the Consortium of NLUs. It must be noted that the CLAT Scorecard is accepted at various NLUs across the country. Based on the total number of students who appeared for the CLAT 2026 Exam, CLAT Rank Predictor 2026 will release the result.

CNLU Patna LLM cutoff 2026 is out, wherein the first round closing rank is 968 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Apart from the General category, the cutoff has been released only for the PWD category, for which the cutoff rank is 6270.

GNLU Gandhinagar LLM cutoff 2026 released has been released across different categories under the AI and HS quotas.
