Yes, BTech is a four-year course offered in 23 specialisations, namely Civil, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Chemical, etc. The university offers BTech through NIMS Institute of Engineering & Technology at the UG level. Candidates can apply after completing Class 12 in relevant disciplines. 

Candidates must complete Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for the BTech course or passed Diploma exam with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

NIMS University Jaipur offers decent placements annually for various courses like MBA, MCA and BTech, etc. In 2025, the participating recruiters presented various placements to the batch 2024. As per the latest report, 71 recruiter participated during NIMS University Jaipur placements for the School of Engineering and presented 215 job offers to the students of the batch 2025.
