National Institute of Technology Hamirpur is also known as NIT Hamirpur. NITH was established in 1986 as one of the thirty-one NITs of the country. - Healthcare Centre: NIT Hamirpur has its own healthcare centre to meet the basic health needs of students or anyone who is part of the system. The emergency cases are sent to the zonal hospital in Hamirpur.
- Sports Complex: NIT Hamirpur has a sports facility for different indoor and outdoor sports activities. The sports complex has a ground and a courtyard where students can play cricket, football, lawn tennis, volleyball, badminton and more.
- Central Library: NIT Hamirpur has a central library with around 1 lakh books and a plethora of scientific journals, present in both print and electronic media. The central library also has a reading room with the capacity to house 500 students at a time.
- Incubation Cell: In March 2017, NIT Hamirpur entered into an agreement with the Government of Himachal Pradesh to set up an incubation cell at the campus. The incubation cell is set up in the central block building with a designated area of 64.28 sqm.
