Good placements in 2025. Faculty is qualified and really helpful. The infrastructure is also good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities at our department were good. There was a solid-state physics lab, a modern Physics lab, an instrumentation lab, and an optics lab. The reading hall had Wi-Fi and ample seating space. The library has all kinds of books. The new lecture hall/ classroom had great infrastructure. The quality of food was good (some hostels had great food and some decent). There was a student activity centre where you can play sports and a gym facility was also available for both boys...

Professional and friendly faculty.

Infrastructure: There are very good-quality hostels in our institute. There are a total of 13 hostels at the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. The quality of food in our hostel is very good and hygienic. Mess workers are cooperative, and night canteens are present in every hostel. A hospital is also present in our institute.

Most beautiful campus compared to other NITs.

Infrastructure: In the first year you get Kailash Boys' hostel where in the first 2 months, the facility of the mess is good but the quality of this goes down. After completion of the first year other hostels are also good and their mess is also very good. Wi-Fi facility is too poor and a night canteen is available, and all games are excluded. Indoor and outdoor activities excluding swimming are available.

A decent college with good environment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite decent. The hostels are not up to mark, water shortage, no Wi-Fi, etc., but the classes, lecture halls, laboratories and library are good, and atmosphere is very nice. Overall, it's a nice place with lovely climate and greenery.

NIRF ranking is 97 with a 3.2 crores of the highest package.

Infrastructure: We have full access to all facilities in our college campus, like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library. The hostel facility is quite good with decent rooms and a bare minimum of facilities. Wi-Fi is kind of slow but steady. You are allowed to use medical facilities and sports.

A good college, decent placement record, and beautiful campus.

Infrastructure: Hostels are decent, but facilities are not up to mark, and there is a lot of improvement required, others classrooms and labs are quite good. Labs have all functionality, and recently new lecture hall was built, which was quite good and very beautiful.

Good college with good infrastructure.

Infrastructure: The hostel was average, not so good, not so bad. It had some issues related to the washrooms, etc., and had lots of improvements required. Here we had Wi-Fi, but it did not work properly, and the washrooms were not clean. These were some minor issues, but hostel life was good.

We have a very good college. The location is perfect.

Infrastructure: The hostels are pretty good. The mess food is also very hygienic and healthy. Even many new hostels are being built to make the rooms more spacious and comfortable. The departments are well managed with faculty that is very cooperative. Not just academics, but other activities such as sports, art, dance, and music are taken care of.

Good location, nice atmosphere.

Societies function throughout the whole year, and clubs in their respective semesters. In the hostel, we get a basic room with 3-4 people sharing with basic facilities, there are no AC rooms, and there are common washrooms. Meal quality is good, and it serves cuisines from pan-India.

Absolutely good campus and culture of my college.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It has great scenery in college since it is in the mountains. Building of each department is too good with proper management and all. Hostels also have better space management and mess systems for hostelers, along with night canteen facilities. Separate hostels are available for both boys and girls of each year. Lecture halls are there with all facilities like AC rooms and smart board.

The natural beauty of NIT Hamirpur is so awesome. You will love it.

Infrastructure: If you are a fresher, then your hostel is KBH (Kailash Boys Hostel). Hostels are so awesome, but you will see some monkeys. Monkeys are not as harmful as you think. The one thing is that there are three to four LAN cables in each room. If your LAN is not working, then you can also use Wi-Fi, which is very fast and unlimited. The library is also open for you, but till 8:00 PM in the first year. When you become a senior, you will get HBH hostel and library up to 12:00 AM. All classrooms have a dig...

Best weather, strict faculty, trips are absolutely heaven, and more than average placements.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, library, and lecture halls. The library is central, fully air-conditioned, and has blowers in winters. Departments are really nice except the MNC department, which has only classrooms and not exactly a separate department. Hostels are quite nice and get lenient as you move to higher years. Mess food is more than good except in HBH boys hostel. Ground and SAC are there for extracurricular activities, sports, and games, and the gym is also there, separate for girl...

NIT Hamirpur College review.

Infrastructure: The hostel and mess are good enough to manage. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, and LAN is available in hostel rooms. We can get anything you want on campus only. Classrooms are well-ventilated, and every classroom has a projector. There is a big stadium for cricket and football, and an indoor stadium for badminton.
