NIT Hamirpur MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
MTech at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur is offered in 18 specialisations for BE/ BTech graduates across five departments. The two-year postgraduate-level course is offered for two years and is divided into a semester pattern. NIT Hamirpur MTech course admission is based on a valid GATE score obtained by eligible candidates. The seat allotment process is then carried out through three rounds of CCMT Counselling. In case of vacant seats, the seats are allotted through National Spot Round (NSR) Counselling, conducted in two rounds.

After getting a valid GATE score candidates will have to apply for CCMT Counselling and wait for provisional admission to be given by the university. Therefore, candidates should be ready for a tough journey towards attaining admission into the M.Tech programme at the university.
The first step for admission into NIT Hamirpur M.Tech is to apply and appear for the GATE exam. Candidates should apply for the exam on the emanation website. In 2025, the exam is supposed to take place in the first and third week of Feb 2025. Candidates with a valid GATE score will have to appear for CCMT Counselling to secure admission into the M.Tech programme.
