Good classroom facilities but unsatisfactory placements.

Placements: About 20 percent students were placed. This includes the job offers at industries, teaching roles and research scholars. Some of the students opted for IISER Kolkata and most have been offered research here at the same university. Projects and research scholars under the guidance of our own teachers can be opted for.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were well-equipped with interactive learning equipment. The labs were well-equipped too. And accessible by students. The hostel facilities were average. The infrastructures and medical facilities are good but the food quality should be improved.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and professionals at what they do. They are very helpful specially in my branch- inorganic Chemistry. It is not 100% curriculum relevant but it does exercise it often. The exams are of good standards but if you have studied well they aren't that difficult.

Other: I chose this course due to my own interest in my subject and as I believe it has a good career prospect. The placement facilities and career guidance should definitely be improved. Events like social, freshers and farewell parties, carnivals keep getting organised. The scholarship facilities are also available.

"Advancing Chemical Sciences Through Education & Research at NBU" .

Placements: Being a degree course no students were placed from my batch. But some of our seniors after qualifying three CSIR NET are now doing there Ph.D. in Some prestigious universities We get to learn lots of stuff while working in the lab like handling equipments chemical instruments etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available both in hostel and campus. The infrastructure needs to be maintained more. The classroom studies are very nice. And the library facility are also very good. The hostel food is not very nice but okay according to the hostel feels.

Faculty: The teacher here are highly qualified but being a non Bengal it is hard to understand sometimes The course is relevant but only to some extends it makes us industry ready The semester exams are mediocre and the pass percentage is quite high in our department.
