No, Osmania University doesn't have any provision of direct admission for UG and PG programmes. Candidates seeking admission to Osmania University clear the course-specific entrance test. Osmania University PharmD admission is based on candidates' performance in Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), followed by a counselling round. This state-level entrance test will be held in computer-based test mode for admission to various UG-level engineering, agriculture and medical courses. 

After qualifying for the exam one has to check the cutoff for a particular college and a particular course. After checking for the particular course one has to apply for counseling and after counseling one can pay the fees. For, clearing the exam the cutoff was 25 percent and to become eligible score the candidate must score a minimum of 50 marks for the general category. The SC/ST candidates are eligible at 20 marks out of 200 and they can apply for counseling after that and they can also secure their seats by paying the fees. The minimum score for OBC Category was 25.

Candidates should have completed their Class 12 equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, with an aggregate of 45%. Additionally, for admission to BTech courses, candidates must qualify in the TS EAMCET conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

To begin with, one must first qualify the exam and then check for the cutoffs. The cutoff is different for various students; cutoff for  a general category student was 25%, talking in scores, it will be 50 marks out of 200, where as for a SC/ST student it was 10%, that is, the student must score atleast 20 marks out of 200 and for an OBC student, the required score was 25 out of 200 which is 12.5% of the total, in order to be eligible to take admission into the institution .
